Overall, it is a good college. You can take admission.
Placements: There are two ways of getting admission to this college. First, directly through JEE Main, and second, through the BCECE examination conducted by the Government of Bihar. The Mechanical branch has overall good placement, with about 60% placement.
Infrastructure: There are two main academic buildings in this college. Most classrooms have digital smart boards, but only a few teachers teach using them. The hostel has Wi-Fi and 24 hour electricity. There is no ground in this college. The college campus is also very small.
Faculty: A few teachers are very supportive and understand the situations of students. The course curriculum is decided by BEU. We can pass the semester exams easily. For the 25th batch, semester exams are conducted on time, but there are always delays in the results. Results are published 4 months after the examination.
Other: The placement ratio should be increased. Students should gain practical knowledge rather than only book knowledge. Semester results must be published on time.

If you can afford a private college, then don't take admission here.
Placements: In mechanical engineering, about 50 percent of students get placed. Most students prepare for the GATE exam and target Public Sector Undertakings and M.Tech from IITs and NITs. The highest package offered in the mechanical branch is 10 LPA. Many students join the Merchant Navy.
Infrastructure: All classes have digital smart boards. All branches have their respective labs. There is also a library facility in our college. There are 3 boys' hostels and 2 separate girls' hostels. All hostels have tight security. Mess food is good to eat and affordable.
Faculty: Teachers here are quite supportive. Most teachers have M.Tech degrees, and a few have Ph.D. degrees. They are very supportive and dedicated to our education. A few professors are like our guardians. They are always ready to help in any situation. Semester exams are very easy to pass. You can pass the semester exam after studying one night before the exam.
Other: There is a cultural and sports festival organized by the Bihar Department of Science and Technology. Every college participates in it.

Good for hardworking students.
Placements: There are 60 students in each branch in the first year. The highest package is 15 LPA. Many students are placed in TCS, with packages of approximately 10 LPA in 2026. Internships are available at NTPC, IBM, IRCTC, JP Morgan, and other companies. Top roles include Software Development. It is an affordable government college with growing placement opportunities. Some students are placed in Microsoft after gaining two years of experience and then move to companies like Microsoft and Google.
Infrastructure: BCE Patna has a campus spanning 10 acres. The campus has Wi-Fi and 24/7 electricity. Labs, library, and classrooms have internet access. Sports include badminton, cricket, and table tennis. Sports are held in January-February at the district level through Kaushal Manthan. The hostel has good infrastructure. The mess is maintained by the mess community, mainly seniors who take responsibility after admission.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and mainly IITians. Some teachers are from BITS Pilani and international institutions as well. Since it is not an IIT, students have to work on their skills for placement. You will be called an engineer like other engineering students.
Other: I have taken Computer Science and Engineering, and I got 92 percentile. It has an affordable fee structure of only Rs. 50,000, with an 8-acre campus. It is a trending course. Some students get 10 LPA from this college. A fresher party is held every year. Scholarships are provided to EBC, BC, SC, and ST students as a post-matric scholarship. Hackathons, sports, singing, dancing, and clubs are also available.

The college is good for hardworking students.
Placements: The placement in this college is satisfactory with good results. 20 to 30 percent of students get placed in companies like TCS, Infosys, HCL, etc. There is a training and placement cell which supports students to get placed with proper guidance and experience.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good enough with classroom lighting and electricity facilities in classrooms and labs. There are different labs for different subjects and there is a library with Wi-Fi facility, which helps students in their studies and in academic work.
Faculty: The faculty members in this college are well experienced and knowledgeable. They have all qualified competitive exams like BPSC they guide students in their studies and also give suggestions about their respective fields so that students can settle their careers.
Other: I have chosen this course because my coding fundamentals are good and I have an interest in this field.

Overall college is good. You can take admission.
Placements: Overall 30 percent of students got placed from our college. CSE and Fire Technology have higher placements. The highest package offered by TCS is 9 LPA. The average package is 3 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Federal Bank, L&T. Paid internship is not available. Many students prepare for the GATE examination.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is also available in the whole college campus. Classrooms are digital and well-furnished. The library is small approximately 140 students can sit. Hostel buildings are also good. Quality of food is good including 4 times evening snacks.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and friendly. Teaching quality is also very good. The course curriculum is relevant. The college tries to make students industry-ready, but many students can't focus on studies. Semester exams are moderate you can easily pass by studying for 5 days.
Other: According to my JEE score and family background, this is the best college for me.

Don't take admission, study hard for IITs and NITs.
Placements: CSE branch has a placement ratio of around 20 percent. The highest package offered is 10 LPA. 3 students received packages of 9 LPA. The top recruiting companies include TCS and Infosys. There are also many GATE rankers in the CSE branch, some opt for higher studies.
Infrastructure: Bakhtiyarpur College of Engineering has a total of 5 hostels 3 for boys and 2 for girls. This college campus is about 8 acres. There are Wi-Fi facilities and 24-hour electricity with a generator. Classrooms have smart board. There is also a library, where you can study peacefully, and a variety of books are available for specific subjects.
Faculty: The college curriculum is mostly based on theoretical things. There is a lack of practical knowledge. Semester exams are easy to pass. Anyone who studies before the exam can pass the examination. Semester results are never on time, they are always delayed. Teaching quality is good, some professors are very sincere towards study.
Other: The college has very low placement. Campus is also very small. College placement should be improved. The college organizes cultural festivals and sports fests like Umang.
