The JEE Main previous year papers should be solved strategically to gain maximum benefits. Check some tips below:
- Recreate Real Exam Rules: Sit in a quiet room, set a 3-hour timer, and solve the paper in one go during official shift hours (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM) without checking answers.
- Analyse Your Mistakes: After scoring, split every missed or wrong question into three simple categories - concept doubts, silly calculation errors, or time traps.
- Keep an Error Notebook: Write down tricky formulas, shortcuts, and mistakes you made, then review them weekly so you do not repeat them.
- Prioritise the Latest Papers: Focus most on papers from the last 3 to 4 years to stay aligned with the newest question formats and current syllabus weightage.
