Absolutely satisfied. Good quality education institute.
Placements: About 68 - 70% students of mechanical branch students got apprenticeship on various government and private sectors and 7-10% student are working on private companies. All the students are getting average 2 Lacs package. Maximum students are doing apprenticeship at Oil India Limited and some students are doing job at various other companies and few students got permanent job and top roles offered for junior engineer.
Infrastructure: All the modern facilities available in the classroom with digital board, Wi-Fi, modern laboratory, modern library also available. All the facilities provided in the hostel is good also quality of food also good. Primary medical facilities available, sports and games facilities available but Canteen is not available inside the college campus students are need to go outside the campus to eat something during the break time.
Faculty: All the teachers are very qualified and the way of teaching of all the teachers are excellent. Teachers have completed their syllabus before exam and also prepared the students for interview. Semester exams are not so difficult because all the topics are discussed In the class. If you regular student then it's easy to score good marks. About 85-90% students are passed.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering because it was my dream to study in mechanical branch. I got lots of knowledge and ideas from this course this course also helps to become an entrepreneur. I don't think there is lack of something in this course but a canteen is needed inside the college campus which will be very helpful for students.

Our college has peaceful environment and all facilities are helpful.
Placements: Almost 60% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary offered was Rs 50,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs 10,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs 18,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Oil India Limited, Marico, Ceat Tyre, and Suzuki. Around 45% of students got internships at companies like Oil India Limited, refineries, etc. The top role offered is assistant engineer.
Infrastructure: Our campus is not Wi-Fi-enabled. A computer laboratory is available. Around 5 workshops are conducted in this college. There is a decent library on our campus. There are 10 laboratories in this college. Classrooms are well-maintained. Boys' hostel is available. Hostel rooms are not spacious. The hostel fee is reasonable. The food served in the hostel is good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. All faculty members are smart. Semester exams are not difficult. If we study well, we can score good marks in exams. The pass percentage is 93%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it.

Other eligibility criteria
Candidate must passed H.S.L.C./ 10th or equivalent examination with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subject in a single sitting (without grace marks in Science and Mathematics) and also have to pass individually in both theory and practical/ Internal Assessment with minimum 40% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for General/OBC/ MOBC candidates, 35% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for SC candidates and 33% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for ST Candidates, from a recognized Institute/ board.
Candidate must register in www.dte.assam.gov.in for admission offered by SCTE.
The Maximum age limit for UR/OBC/MOBC is 20 years 6 months as on 31-12-2024, for SC/ST, maximum age limit is 23 years 6 months as on 31-12-2024 and for PH/PwD, maximum age limit is 25 years 6 months as on on 31-12-2024.
NOTE: No compartmental candidate will be allowed to take admission.
For Rank Generation Marks of Four Subjects (Maths, Science, English And Social Science) will be Considered.
Candidates must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent resident of Assam . [Except son/daughter of central Govt. Employees). Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) must be produced at the time of Counseling.
Physical Fitness (Optional): Candidate must be physically and mentally fit. Candidate will have to produce fitness Certificate at the time of admission from a registered medical practitioner as per enclosed format.
Eligibility for Sports Quota: Candidate must be a medal winner of State Games/ State Championships/ Tournaments organized by Assam Olympic Association/ State Sports Association/Directorate of Sports & Youth Welfare, Assam and will be decided in order of Medals of Gold/ Silver/ Bronze received.
The medals received by the candidates must be within the period of last 3 years.
Eligibility for NCC Quota: Selection of candidates for NCC category would be considered in order of merit as per NCC Examination Certificate.
NOTE: Candidates are asked to submit the documents of the NCC camp attendance. In case of tie in NCC certificate and grade, the camp attendance will be considered for deciding rank.
