Great faculty members but room for growth in other areas, overall satisfied.
Placements: Our college has limited placement opportunities, but many students have found success through their own efforts. For example, some seniors have secured government jobs or private sector positions. I know this mainly because some of our seniors talked about it in our departmental confluence which is a kind of freshers and farewell for the English department. Some of my friends got internships but mostly it is their own efforts.
Infrastructure: We have a communal college library also a class library and an online archive that we can access from the college website. But I mostly borrow books from my teachers they are great. We have smart classrooms and teachers provide notes through LMS which can be accessed through the college website.
Faculty: There are many shortcomings in our college but our teachers are great, personally for me I am still in this college because of them. They are always helpful and very knowledgeable. The most important thing is that you can always talk to them regarding any problem. I think our curriculum is good if someone wants to pursue a career in teaching.
Other: I chose English literature Hounrs because of my passion for literature. Course is engaging, with insightful faculty members and exposure to various literary works. However, I wish there were more practical applications. Our college excels in extracurricular activities, such as drama and cultural clubs, and hosts events like The Confluence for English department and another fresher event to welcome students. The campus is close to Baruipur railway station in a peaceful setting. Faculty members are good but some of the office staffs are really rude other than that I am satisfied with my college.

Overall, Baruipur College is a well established college and it is always fun to be on the campus.
Placements: Placements have been exceptional. Several students were selected by Amazon previous batch and the others have also been placed in good companies. Job opportunities provided cater to the growth of an individual and a variety of companies take part in placements.
Infrastructure: College has all necessary infrastructure facilities. Digital classrooms provide a better learning experience. Hostels have 24X7 Wi-Fi and all the infrastructure is well maintained. The entire college is clean and food is very hygienic. There is no necessary infrastructure, and some of the equipment is not operational. No hostel facilities, electricity, drinking water not available. There is no electricity in college. It was a muddy road to college.
Faculty: I got into CMRIT through KCET in 2nd round of counseling. I had to pay a college fee of 3000 and a KCET fee of 4000. I feel it's worth it because of the college infrastructure, knowledgeable faculty and other facilities offered by college. I feel it is definitely worthwhile because of the facilities they have provided. I improved a lot and was placed in a good company.
Other: Overall, college is very good. Every girl in Bihar wants to take admission in this college. College campus is attractive and beautiful. Every teacher and staff member treats every child like their own. Colleges have their own vaccination area that is free of cost.

My college is the best in Hooghly district.
Placements: In Baruipur, my college is one of the best colleges. Geography department is the best and Sanskrit is also good in my college. I took admission in 2017, July. Present I am a student of this college. The college is located near Baruipur station.
Infrastructure: This college is famous for sports. I have participated in the college football league for the last two years. I like my college because of the programs held and every year in my college annual sports day is celebrated, in which I participated and won a trophy.
Faculty: I am pursuing a B.A. in this college. Baruipur College is in South Kolkata, which is a huge college. Around 2,000 students study in this college. Arts, science and commerce are the educational departments in the college. I am from arts department in this college. I love my college very much.
Other: I am an arts student, and I got many scholarships from here.

Aiming for the Progression.
Placements: The placements in our college are quite tough. After the completion of the degree, you need to choose a particular branch to move on. If someone wants to be prepared for the arbitrary government job, then he/she can take competitive tuitions. We can go for civil services.
Infrastructure: As per the locality, the infrastructure is quite well, but if we compare the institution with the others under the same university, it's not as good as those colleges. So, the management should look after it immediately. Every opportunity for the students is available in the college.
Faculty: There are many subjects/courses in our college. The local students or the students from the villages over there can have a very good career with the help of this institution. Everyone cannot go on with regular courses. In the same institution, during the weekends, distance education courses are also available. That's why this institution is helpful rather than the others. Authority should look after the infrastructure.

Good teachers but very poor college management.
Placements: Around 15?20% of students get placed from our course, mostly in private banks and local firms. The highest package is about ?4.8 LPA, with an average of ?2 LPA. While campus internships are limited to about 10% of the batch, the teachers are very supportive in helping us find off-campus roles and preparing us for government exams like the SSC. Common roles offered include sales executive and office assistant positions.
Infrastructure: The college has good basic infrastructure including a well-stocked library and SMART classrooms. Science and Geography labs are well-equipped. There is a canteen on campus, but sports facilities are limited. Note that the college does not have its own hostel, so most students stay in private messes near Baruipur station.
Faculty: The teachers at Baruipur College are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is actually quite good, and the faculty is always willing to clear our doubts. However, the management quality is very poor. They often provide exam notices even before semester admissions are completed, which cases a lot of stress and confusion. The curriculum is relevant under Calcutta University, but the management lack of coordination makes it difficult to feel fully industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate difficult, with a pass percentage of around 80%. .
Other: I chose this course because the faculty is truly knowledgeable and helpful, which is the best thing about Baruipur College. However, the management quality is very poor and needs serious improvement. They frequently issue exam notices even before the semester admission process is finished, which is very stressful. I wish for better coordination and communication from the office staff. On the positive side, the campus is well-connected to Baruipur station, and there are scholarship opportunities available for eligible students.

I very good college I like.
Placements: 85% students placed in my course
the highest package was ?3.80 Lacs, the lowest package 1.2lakhs, and average package was 1.5 Lacs
Companies like - TCS, Ericsson, IBM
40% students got internship in companies like NGOs, tourism depth, Asiatic society etc. Roles like teaching assistant, tourism guide, reaserch assistant etc.
Infrastructure: Ever kind of facilities are available like labs, classrooms, libraries etc. Very good quality foods available in the mess and canteen, also good medical and sports games facilities
Library had a too good amount of book varieties, sports ground is too big.
Faculty: Teaching quality is awesome very helpful, very knowledgeable teachers. Yes it makes students industry ready. Yes course curriculum relevant. Not much difficult it's somewhat easy anyway. No matter it's how much difficult exams teachers are always supportive
Pass percentage is 60%.
Other: I like this course for interest in history. Best things about the course is skill development, internship and field work, professional career road map. The things I wish improve my course is fest, events, scholarships.
