BIBS is good. First check your area of interest in the job (HR, Sales,Financial field sales, core finance).Then check the 'average in hand' salary of your favorite field, as the annual CTC package is not your in hands or take home salary. BIBS could be your better destination how ever also try in other colleges like MDI Murshidabad. In our time 2 years ago BIBS placement was good I do not mean about 100% placement but it has given quality placement means secured job and stable profile comparatively.Though check what you exactly want as job profile and what college can provide. Suppose you want to be a credit analyst or a bank manager but during placement, you come to know it is banking field sales profile or you are corporate credit executive; may be target based. So be clever and clearly check these with the palcement officer. If you have not 55 or 60 % then talk with placement head whether it will be a big issue during placement or not.

If you go through our website you will understand that not only we assure 100% placement every year but all the companies are also quite great. Talking about finance sector 60% of the companies are either of banking or finance sector from HDFC to ICICI to PWC. There are great opportunities in this sector. Being a student of BIBS, I'm going to give you a clear picture about BIBS. Before joining BIBS I also looked for a lot of colleges, but I am glad that I took the right decision. BIBS is a great place for doing MBA in Kolkata. They are extremely placement oriented. They try their level best to make you corporate ready through grooming and events. This actually helped us a lot. There are about 80 companies coming every year for final placement so there is no worry about it. Faculty is great and they teach you a lot of practical thing which is very important. So compared to NSHM it is definitely very good in terms of everything because I do know about that college.

So, you should not worry about placement. And, if you are talking about sports quota, then we most probably don't have. But, we give some privileges to the sports people if you are really into sports.
