A review of Cauvery College, Virajpet campus.

Placements: Placements for my batch and my senior batch were very good. Almost 80% of students get placed. The salary offered is from UGC. Companies like Wipro and Infosys have visited the campus. The roles offered are discipline, cleanness, work hard in studies, encourage for national tournaments. Around 50% of students got internships. There is a placement cell, and it is useful.

Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There is a computer lab. CCTV and public address systems are enabled in the classrooms. There are offline and online libraries. Medical facilities are available 24*7. Indoor and outdoor stadiums are there, and there are 25,000 books available in the library. The classrooms are eco-friendly. Good quality food is available at lower cost. The hostel is only for women, and it is well-maintained. I did not face any problem in facilities.

Faculty: The teachers of the college are friendly. They teach very well using all the teaching methods. The course is very useful, and you will get industry experience. There is a very good PG degree and certificate course along with studies. The teaching faculty are very good.

Other: There are 2 events conducted, and many scholarships are available from the government and private sectors. Many extracurricular activities are conducted, and the campus has a calm environment. There is not much crowd.

Decent college, very good education in rural areas

Placements: Very little students were placed from my class and I’m one among them, there where less companies who came down to offer because it’s not in the city like Bangalore, but yes after my friends went to Bangalore they did get job not initially but yes they did, coming to the company we had banking sector, I got places for HDFC coorg and now I work for idbi in Bangalore

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good a decent building, clean washroom and good classrooms and huge rooms, a beautiful view from our balcony drinking water purifier and a ground to play cricket, football, basketball and we did have a gaming room for indoor games like tt.

Faculty: Well educated teachers and very good faculty they where very helpful, the ratio between the students and faculty was good, yes we did go to industrial visits it was a fun learning visit the course curriculum was very useful and our teachers where very helpful they provided us study notes at every semester.

Other: We did have fest, good number or students in the class, huge campus cca activities where very good we could interact with our seniors
