I'm absolutely satisfied with college.
Placements: 60% of students have a chance of placement in this course. There is no such package or something, they provide campus interviews, then select trainers for big shipping companies and shipyards. 100% of students get their internships in this institution only.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our department. They provide free Wi-Fi in the classrooms. There are electrical labs, computer labs, workshops for engine practicals, fitting, welding, and lathe machinery. In the hostel, the food is poor, but the rooms and bathrooms are good.
Faculty: Every teacher in our institute is very helpful and teaches well. Their teaching quality is great. The teachers of our institute are well-qualified and well knowledgeable. This course makes students industry-ready. Exams are a little tough, but teachers taught us well, so it's like easy for us.
Other: I chose this college for my dream. My dream is to become a sailor. I wish the food in our hostel were a little more good. There are no such events here, this is a central government college, so there is no party, we have only small events.

Find some other college to study.
Placements: There were no placements in our college. None of our seniors got placed in the college placements, and now, they are jobless. Some of them were changed to other courses after completing this course. Most of them are bank employees now. Better find some other college as this is a waste course. None of the roles was offered to the placed students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure facilities of our college are good. Hostel facilities are average. There are no Wi-Fi and medical facilities. Library in the college was good. The canteen in our college is also good. There are a lot of infrastructure related issues. Quality of labs is poor. There are sports and games. Classrooms are good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were not at all helpful and qualified. Some of them don't know anything about the subject. There is no industry exposure. No special teaching methods are used to teach. The student to faculty ratio is very low. Teaching quality is also poor.

Other: It’s a central govt. institute. It conducts mainly three courses. A four year degree course and two year course. CIFNET mainly focuses to impart knowledge through practical experience. It is mandatory to attend every student to take part in 100 days of sea experience. The main aim of CIFNET is to supply manpower to vessel. It has an own vessel of MV Prashiksahani and well facilitated gear hall etc. are there.

Review of the Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training.
Placements: It is a government institution, so the cost is low. Every year, 20 students are enrolled after taking the entrance exam. After completion of the course, we are called for experience as Junior Deck Cadets according to the rank we get after the final exam. Based on our performance, we may get selected to work on the institute’s vessel.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are average, but the structure is very good. Two trainees are allotted one spacious room. Each floor has common bathrooms.
Faculty: Teachers are good and they do their best. However, there is a lack of faculty. Exams are not that hard. I think the course should be more focused on aviation rather than net ending, and there is a course I think is irrelevant called Engineering Drawing, but it may be needed in the future. The course is Vessel Aviation. It provides basic knowledge of aviation, safety, and net ending. Teachers are highly qualified and have years of experience.
Other: It is an average course that anyone can study. You only need to be 10th pass. I think there should be more faculty.

Central institute of fisheries and nautical engineering training .
Placements: There will be only 20 students in each batch of marine fitter course and 20 students in vessel aviation course. CIFNET is an ITI college owned by central government and there 1500 rs provided as stiphent every month
After the two year trainee course the students will be called for apprenticeship in each places like ports and shipiards sometimes they call us in CIFNET workshop or in FICT workshop
While talking about the roles offered in this course you get to know about engine so much in such a young age and could start a career soon.
Infrastructure: When we're talking about facilities available in CIFNET here we have a very high standard and clean classrooms
And also a SMART class and SMART TV in every class and seperate labs and practical classes for both MFC and VNC
MFC has an very well occupied workshop with every material and trainees workshop must have and VNC has a good gear hall
When we're talking about hostel we have an 90 trainee accommodation hostel which has good rooms and we have a playground were cricket, football and volleyball is played and all other sports can also be played.
Faculty: Yes teachers are helpful they helps us in every single area, teachers are very kind and friendly forward to us. There is no exceptions in case of teaching teachers put very much effort in ensuring us trainees are getting proper training. This course is very helpful to get in marine field, we can either work in shipiards and ships also. There are no sem exams it is working as yearly exams conducted in March or June in both first and second year
And the exam is conducted in 600 marks and pass mark percentage is 30 percent .
Other: I chose this course because I'm so much into engines and this course provided me every knowledge to know about engines and marine field and now I have 60 sailing records in Pacific Ocean. In case of studying it's simple we mainly consider practical classes
There are lot of events conducted like watch bharath and all every month in our campus and every single events like Hindi day and cultural day and also the main and important thing is the sports and cultural meet conducted in second year of college days at Kochi headquarters it's an unforgettable memory for everyone .

Absolutely satisfied and good.
Placements: 160–170 students get placed across all India branches of CIFNET, which are in Kochi, Chennai, and Visakhapatnam. The highest package is Rs.24,000, including hostel fees and swimming fees, and the lowest is Rs.8,000. Cochin Shipyard collaborates with Kochi CIFNET. Internships involve sailing days on vessels, and every student gets a chance to go on vessels. Students have to choose one side, either the deck side or the engine side.
Infrastructure: The college has the best infrastructure as they recently built and painted the whole campus. The college has a smart class, which is the best part because it consists of smart TVs that help us get more information. There is Wi-Fi, computer labs, a library, a fishing gear hall, and a workshop. The hostel food is good but not worth the mess bill, and there is no proper gym.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching experience is great, and they ensure that students understand things properly. It makes students ready because of the experience on the vessel during sailing. There are no semester exams, only internal exams, practicals, and computer-based tests at the end of each year.
Other: I want to study in the marine line, that's why I chose this course. Things like conducting regular classes. There are no events, but they celebrate festivals like Pongal, Onam, etc. They also conduct the Swachh Bharat campaign at the end of each month and in whole October.
