Our college is excellent but placements are not good.

Placements: It is a very good college. But placements in this college cannot be expected because it was located in a small village near Poduru. So, the placements in this college were not offered. But the education provided by faculty members was good through which students go to higher cities and can get jobs or selected interviews. It is a good college, but there were no placements.

Infrastructure: In this college, the infrastructure was average. Particularly as an electrical student, I had a good opinion of our college for providing the best equipment for learning. As electrical students, students need the electrical laboratory in our college. They provided excellent equipment in this college. They provide real machines to understand the theory and concept of the electrical laboratory. There was no hostel facility. But there were rooms outside this college which were given rent for students.

Faculty: Faculty members were very good in this college. They treat students like their children. But teaching was very understandable. They all were good at teaching and the teachers were friendly. They alert students before exams and start revising their students for achieving good marks in semester exams. So, overall the faculty curriculum and exams for our courses were excellent.

Other: I opted for this course, because I like bikes.

Col. D.S. Raju Polytechnic College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

After 10th Diploma

Candidates should have passed S.S.C. Examination (Class 10th) conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS. such as CBSE, ICSE, NIOS, A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Candidates belonging to NIOS/APOSS/Other Examinations recognised as equivalent to SSC by A.P. Govt. should have passed all the subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% marks in each subject. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in April/ May-2023, and whose results are yet to be declared can also apply. There is no age restriction.
