B.Sc. in Electronics - Batch of 2022
4.8

Transforming Minds and Shaping Futures with Excellence.
Placements: In my batch, there were 31 students in our class and about 30% of students received placements. The average package is 2 LPA to 5 LPA. Wipro, Infosys, and TCS are B.Sc. electronics students recruiting companies. Yearly 50% of students are selected the placements.
Infrastructure: Our college has more facilities and the infrastructure are good. Neat and clean library with separate labs for electronics, computers, and BCA students. Classrooms are very comfortable and have good Wi-Fi connections. Every year there are sports and arts day celebrations. But there is no hostel facility.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly. There is freedom to say anything. It is taught by teachers with many of years experience. The teaching way is easy to understand and then the doubts are cleared and given. The semester exam will be passed by 80% of students. The exam is in moderate form.
Other: I just joined temporarily. But I liked nature very much. Onam, Christmas, Arts Day, Sports Day, and Holi are celebrated there. There is NSS. A lot of good social work is done. And NSS camps for Christmas vacation is the one that gets the most vibe.

B.Sc. in Computer Science - Batch of 2023

A calm, affordable, government-affiliated college for B.Sc. Computer Science.
Placements: Placements were average but improved gradually. Around 30–40% of students got placed in the college. After graduation, we could apply for IT sector jobs or government jobs. The average package was around 2.5 LPA. It was better to build your skills. Internships and projects were also available.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was simple but functional. Classrooms were neat and clean. Labs had the required systems. Wi-Fi was available only for staff and in labs. The college had a decent, clean library for reading. There was no hostel, but PGs and other rooms were available nearby. It was not a modern campus, but it had a peaceful and green atmosphere. Medical facilities were also available. Good sports and games were offered on campus, such as football, cricket, chess, and more. The canteen food was hygienic and tasted good.
Faculty: Semester exams were good, with 60 marks required to pass. The major highlight was the quality of teaching. Teachers were the best and highly experienced.
Other: Campus life was calm and stress-free. There were small fests, arts days, and tech events happening every year. We found like-minded people, and the green atmosphere was friendly. There were no major restrictions.

College is good, but you can find a better alternative.
Placements: Minimum requirement is 75% to be placed in the course. We have around 1.3 lakhs studying in all three years. Wipro Infosys-like companies are mainly hiring. They had offered packages around 6 lakhs per annum. Internship support is very low. We can make data science and machine learning a career.
Infrastructure: Our college has no hostel facilities. Most of them are coming from home; at least, the majority of students are only in rent. Classroom facilities are awesome, and all classes are smart. Wi-Fi support would be available soon after they offered it, but no further movements? Libraries are awesome.
Faculty: Teachers are so talented and hard-working; they are old. We celebrate their work as well as project making. Teachers provide asking opportunities, and the programs and functions are conducted well at all occasions. All occasions are mainly Indian and are properly and entertainingly done.
Other: I chose the BCA course because I want to be a part of the tech field industries. We can learn so many languages like Python , C, C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP. College provides scholarships to the most outstanding students, and they get scholarships every year. The campus is nice.

Good college for students only for studying.
Placements: 70% of students were placed with good starting salaries. The starting package was Rs. 90,000. Infosys and other IT companies participated in recruitment. 50% of students got internships. Graduates of the B.Sc. Electronics courses were offered various top roles in both the public and private sectors. Some of the prominent roles included Electronics Technician, Embedded Systems Developer, Network Engineer, Service Engineer, and PCB Designer. They also worked as Technical Support Engineers or joined research and development teams in industries such as telecommunication, consumer electronics, and automation.
Infrastructure: Good facilities like labs and smart classrooms were available. The canteen was good, but there was no hostel. Well-equipped laboratories with modern tools and technology allowed students to gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience in their field of study. Moreover, it was a good college with nice facilities.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful. This course was relevant. It was moderately difficult. The B.Sc. Electronics course curriculum was generally relevant, as it covered fundamental concepts in analog and digital electronics, microprocessors, communication systems, and embedded systems. Many programs also included practical lab sessions, projects, and sometimes internships, which helped students apply theoretical knowledge. However, to be truly industry-ready, students often needed to supplement their education with certifications, hands-on training, and updated skills in emerging technologies like IoT, AI, and VLSI design. When combined with these, the course effectively prepared students for various roles in electronics and technology sectors.
Other: My hobby was related to electronics. Events and celebrations must be more effective.

I am not satisfied with the college atmosphere, the faculty members, the events and all.
Placements: Companies Coming for placement is less because nowadays the CGP of students is very low so companies are not interested in placement. The year I passed no companies came to the college for placements. The college faculty members says we will get placement but I don't think it will ever happen.
Infrastructure: The Computer Lab is Average because the Computer Systems are old, Yes it runs good but needs to upgrade in my opinion. The classrooms are good but the atmosphere doesn't fit for the college. There's no hostel in the college. The college building is very small doesn't give the atmosphere a student wants.
Faculty: Yes most of the teachers were good and helpful some were bit rash. The teaching quality was okay but sometimes we couldn't understand. Yes the course curriculum is relevant. Its not very difficult to pass the exam we can study for 3 days and still pass. The pass percentage is around 60% I think.
Other: I choose this course because I was passionate about computer and coding but the college is not good if you are looking to enjoy studying the course. They should bring more good teachers and should conduct more programs for the students. There's less events maybe 1 or 2 in the college that too for 3-4 hrs the college should inporve it.

This college has the worst management.
Placements: It has a good placement history. Wipro, Speridian technologies, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, and UST global are the top companies recruiting from our college. The average salary package ranges between 2 LPA- 5 LPA. About 10% of students got placements from our batch.
Infrastructure: It has poor infrastructure, no canteen, and no hostel. The computer lab is good. Also, Wi-Fi-enabled smart classrooms are there. It has a congested area and there are no playgrounds. Arts and games are also very poor compared to nearby colleges. Dictatorship ruling the campus. Students have no voice anywhere and have to just obey what authorities say.
Faculty: The faculty was helpful, supportive, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and it also makes the students industry-ready. The college is affiliated with the University of Kerala. Teaching quality is also good in my opinion but can't enjoy campus life.
Other: There are no extracurricular activities and college union. Decisions from the management are the final. There is no discussion with students.
