The institute has partially released department-wise placement statistics for the year 2023. As of now, the highest package offered to CSE department during placements 2023 stood at INR 35 LPA (Ongoing). Apart from this, the highest package offered to Chemical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering students was INR 8 LPA and INR 17.50 LPA during CIT Coimbatore placements 2023, respectively. The placement rate recorded for Chemical Engineering branch was 70%.

Candidates surpassed in HSC (Vocational circulation) with Engineering Vocational subjects and anybody or of mandatory subjects with above cited marks (45% for BC and 40% for MBC I DNC) are also eligible to apply. Candidates exceeded Diploma in one of the Engineering guides (Civil, Mechanical, electrical or Electronics) with (OC 50% average inside the related subjects, BC forty five% common within the related topics, MBC I DNC forty% average in the associated topics and SC/ST forty% common within the related topics) are also eligible to apply. Candidates surpassed any other equivalent qualification permitted by the state Board of Technical training/better Secondary Board of Tamilnadu. Applicants belonging to communities aside from SC/ST should have handed the qualifying examination in no longer more than appearances. Candidates belonging to SC/ST have to have handed the qualifying exam in no longer greater than 3 appearances. For SC/ST candidates, a mere pass in the qualifying examination will suffice.
