The provisional seat matrix for KCET 2025 first round counselling is NOW AVAILABLE. Applicants can check the KCET seat matrix 2025 at kea.kar.nic.in as well. KCET Seat Matrix 2025 - Karnataka Examinations Authority has released the KCET final seat matrix 2025 details on the official website. Applicants looking for admissions to engineering, architecture, and other courses can check the KCET seat matrix at kea.kar.nic.in or cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. KEA announced the KCET results 2025 on May 24, along with the rank list and topper's list. Candidates are advised to go through the KCET 2025 seat matrix before the KEA KCET counselling process 2025. Qualified candidates in the KCET 2025 exam are eligible to participate in the KCET UGCET 2025 counselling process

Q:   What is KCET exam date 2025?
A:

Karnataka Examination Authority has released the KCET 2025 exam date on the official website. Applicants looking for admissions to engineering and other courses can check the KCET exam dates at kea.kar.nic.in. The KCET 2025 exam was conducted on April 16 & 17. KEA conducted the KCET 2025 exam in an offline centre-based mode. Candidates appearing in the exam must carry their KCET admit card 2025 and one valid photo ID proof. The KCET exam date 2025 for the Kannada language exam was on April 15.

Q:   What are the steps to do KCET option entry 2025?
A:

The KCET 2025 option entry process can be done in the following way -

  • Visit the official website- cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
  • Click on the UGCET and login using the scan QR
  • Capture photo and verify OTP
  • Pay a non-refundable processing fee of INR 750
  • Once the payment is sucessful, candidates can participate in the counselling process. 
  • Select the desired category, based on which you want to do the KCET option entry.
  • Enter the list of the colleges and courses on the right side (rank them in your desired order)
  • Rearrange and once you are satified
  • Save and submit the KCET 2025 options. 

The KEA has announced the KCET 2025 round 1 counselling dates on the website. The mock seat allotment result will be announced on July 19 and the KCET provisional seat allotment 2025 result will be declared on July 25.

KCET Counselling 2025

Karnataka Examination Authority has started the KCET 2025 counselling process on the official website. The KCET option entry process is ongoing. Applicants declared qualified based on results are eligible to participate in the KCET counselling. Applicants are advised to refer to the KCET seat matrix 2025 for the admission process. The counselling process of KCET 2025 comprises registration, choice filling, seat allotment and payment of fee.

No. The JEE Mains emphasizes on deep knowledge and quote challenging with negative marking whereas KCET is moderately difficult which emphasizes on direct factual questions with no negative markings.
