College is absolutely excellent, faculty is also very experienced, and the infrastructure is good.
Placements: In my course, there are 45 students, and only 2 or 3 students get placement with the very lowest package of 4 to 4.5 LPA. No top recruiting companies offer placements. The percentage of students who got internships from my course is very low; I think only 20% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: The quality of the facilities and infrastructure available in my course is very good. Wi-Fi is very smart and fast, excellent labs are also available, structured with air-conditioned classrooms which are also excellent. The library has very good facilities, but hostel and canteen service is not available in my college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and have good character. They talk very politely and calmly, giving their best in their subject. They are very experienced and knowledgeable. The college is affiliated with Osmania University, so exam papers are very tough, with a pass percentage of 80%.
Other: This course is suitable for me because all my brothers are in this field. No improvement is required for my course. In my college, events are very few, but the campus is excellent, with a big ground for EAMCET-qualified students. Scholarships are available.

Dissatisfied with the college.
Placements: In my course, there were 90 students divided into two sections, A and B. Students who got admission by counseling got full scholarships, and minor students’ packages were around Rs. 75,000. There are no placements in my college. Hardly 1 or 2 students got offers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is too old, and even the bathrooms and pipelines are all broken. After we left college, the repairs started, but until then, we got tired of complaining. The new building connected with the pharmacy block is maintained, but the engineering block is not.
Faculty: Faculty members were good for the start for 3 years, and then all the faculty changed. In the last year, adjusting to new faculty members was difficult, but they were helpful. The course doesn't make students industry-ready, as not many students come to college, and the teaching is also boring. There are fewer curricular activities. There's no graduation day, lol.
Other: I chose this course as I had an interest in the digital area, but this college wasn't good for the course I chose. I wish there were many practical sessions and guidance from the start on what to study.

Good placements, infrastructure, and faculty members. Good college for building to next level.
Placements: Our college boasts an impressive placement record, with top recruiters visiting our campus every year. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA-10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, and Infosys. Placement percentage is 90%. Our dedicated placement cell works tirelessly to connect students with potential employers, providing training, resume-building, and interview preparation support. They offer internships with top companies, allowing students to gain hands-on experience and build their professional network.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for hospitality course and hotel is good. State-of-the-art classrooms with audio-visual aids are available. Hospitality labs are well-equipped for hands-on training. LLibrary with an extensive collection of hospitality and management books available. Computer labs with the latest software and internet facilities are available. Fully functional training hotel with the exception, of lobby, and guest rooms are available. There are commercial kitchens for culinary arts training. Restaurants and bars for food and beverage service training are available. There is a housekeeping lab for cleaning and laundry operations training. Recreational infrastructure like a student's lounge and recreation room are available. Outdoor sports facilities like basketball, tennis, and cricket are also available. Gymnasium, fitness center, meditation, and yoga room are available. High-speed internet connectivity is provided throughout the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced and qualified with industry expertise. They provided strong mentorship and guidance. Faculty members-to-student ratio is 1:10. Course curriculum is industry-aligned and regularly updated. Comprehensive coverage of hospitality management, culinary arts, and tourism. There is an emphasis on practical skills, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. There is a semester-based examination system and a combination of theory and practical exams. Regular assessments, quizzes, and projects are conducted to evaluate student performance. External examiner visits from industry and academics to ensure quality and standards.
Other: I have good computer knowledge and easy to understand. There are events, fest, scholarships, and extracurricular activities on campus.

College with very poor infrastructure and unattractive campus.
Placements: Well, I am currently in my 2nd year, and I inquired about placements from our seniors. They told me that for the past few years, the placement cell isn't that active, and only very few students who don't have backlogs get placed with a maximum of 2-3 LPA. If you have good skills and no backlogs, then there is a chance that you can get placed. The amount will be based on your skills.
Infrastructure: There is no canteen available, no sports or extracurricular activities, and the campus isn't attractive. It's just buildings with no ground for sports. The classrooms are very old with weak benches, and the washrooms are very dirty. The library is also not up to the mark.
Faculty: The faculty is average. The whole curriculum is affiliated with OU, which is quite tough and isn't autonomous. The pass percentage of the college is declining, and the college is least bothered about building the career for students. There are no workshops or seminar sessions to improve skills.
Other: There are no fests or events. It's just come, study, and leave. That's it.

Review of Deccan College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Mostly few students were placed this year due to the recession. The highest offered by the college was 5 LPA. The average package offered for my course is 3.6 LPA for me; that too, I got selected in Kolkata, and companies like Amazon and Tech Mahindra will visit. I got an internship in Sitarambagh Substation, where I learnt many things.
Infrastructure: No canteen; no good facilities like internet, sports, and cultural activities. No NAAC accreditation. The labs are comfortable, and the library was also too good. You will find many volumes, and there is a digital library too. No hostel for the campus; mostly you will be finding the hostel near Mehdipatnam.
Faculty: Faculty is good and experienced. And help in clarifying the doubts. Most of the students didn't capture the industry knowledge. They explain a students in a better manner. The pass percentage will be low because your correction will be done by OU. So be serious with your semester exams.
Other: As I am a Diploma holder, I chose this branch, EEE. Learn skills from yourself, like embedded systems and VLSI design, where you can see a bright future. No crowd in the campus. Most students will appear only in midterm exams.

Why you shouldn't opt for Deccan college, Nampally!
Placements: The placements are really poor and I don't think recently any student got placed in any sector. First of all, very few companies approached our college to give any sort of role to a student; it has been 3 years and I don't see many internship opportunities as well .
Infrastructure: Labs are of no use most of the time, and you're not allowed in the lab during college hours, which is not a good rule. The classrooms are really bad, the fans and lights won't work properly, and the benches are broken. Thank God I am a convent student because I would never want to pay for and study at such a college where the infrastructure is so bad.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified but not as great as we would expect them to be, obviously since their job is to make us learn. I don't find that quality of teaching in this college. In the beginning, we had great teachers with excellent teaching skills but now it's really bad.
Other: No extra-curricular activities at all.
