It is just an average college.
Placements: There are no placements. This is the main disadvantage of the college. Although faculty may help you find it outside the campus. As per AICTE Curriculum, we now need to do an Internship of 3 weeks after the completion of 3 years which is good. But apart from that, there are no in-campus placements whatsoever.
Infrastructure: Firstly the labs and the library is not good but above average. Classrooms are good. Their is no canteen and sports present in campus. But as the college is Open GATE you can go out and eat. It's basically a college with no extra curricular activities.
Faculty: Most of the teaching staff is qualified and help you understand the subject better. As the college is affiliated with Osmania university it follows the same curriculum and exam pattern. 30 Marks will be allocated for Internals and 70 for the External theory exam. Previously you needed 40 marks out of 100 both external and internal combined. But now you need at least 40% of both. The curriculum is good and makes you Industry ready.

Really good infrastructure, satisfied with the nature faculty and worth the money.
Placements: For ECE-BPOs and some small scale companies. Better chances for CSE guys compared to other branches. For Civil and EEE students to get chances. Overall in my view, placements are below my expectations. This academic year we didn't get much and faculty is one major pbm they didn't pay much attention towards placements.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure with 6 floored building. And separate block for 1st years. Labs are pretty good and there is huge ground. Parking lot. But lack of greenery. No college Wi-Fi for students. Classrooms r big enough. Library is also good. No games or competitions conducted by college.
Faculty: For ECE, staff is pretty qualified and very good and friendly in nature and very helpful to students. CSE too good but idk about other branches but they too perform well. Course curriculum is useful and we had industrial visit in our curriculum so that we can understand industry's operation. For me they (faculty) r pretty good in theories but lack of practical knowledge.
Other: Connectivity to institution is best rail, rtc are available and students use their own vehicle to reach college. Campus surrounded with bekaries, hotels. No fest but some branches conducts.

Review of Deccan College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: The placements are available in our college. If one needs a placement, they can give interviews during their 3rd year and get selected for a particular job in a good company. The students can even go abroad to have a better future.
Infrastructure: It is a very good college. The campus is spread over a huge area. A big playground is available to play sports. A lot of space is available for parking. There are many laboratories to perform experiments. Many facilities like lift, etc., are available. One can explore himself/herself well.
Faculty: It is a very good college, as it enhances students' abilities and talents. The best faculty are present in the college. They give their best to make students perform well in their exams. Thus, the students can get good marks or even become toppers of the college. Many faculty members are present in every field. The college is affiliated to Osmania University.

My college is good for study only, not for other activities.
Placements: In my college, the maximum placements are coming for IT students, and computer science students, but recently, electronics students are also getting campus placement from small industries with low annual salaries. Recently, we got campus recruitment from Surya Solutions with a package of 1.8 lacs/annum.
Infrastructure: In our campus, we have Wi-Fi facility but not for students; it is for only lecturers. We have good lab facility, classrooms are neat with a good study, and we have a library, but there is no games and sports encouragement, and we have medical facilities for medical students.
Faculty: Lectures are well qualified, and their teaching skills are good. Especially our HOD, Nayeem sir was excellent, but the only thing is that they are not friendly with the students. There is no encouragement for campus placements, and the college is good and neat, but there are no good drinking water facilities.
Other: In my college, no fest will be celebrated, but sometimes, an educational fest will be conducted.

Good for studies and worst for other things like placements, fest, training.
Placements: Actually, from the last 5 years, we don't have any college placements or any CRT program and during our final year, we didn't get any on-campus placements. They just received mails from monster.com or any other job portals and posted the things on the Facebook page and advised the students to go there and perform well. Without any training, how can a student perform well and that too in off-campus, where a minimum of 500+ students appear? In our college, 0% placements happen every year. Coming to internships, they just place something on the notice board which doesn't have a proper information for the students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is 1980's. They didn't modify it and will continue with it for upcoming batches. They have poor labs. They said every student can use Wi-Fi but it is not for any student or faculty. Even using of phones is strictly prohibited in the college premises. The library is good with all sorts of versions where the students can find any book of any author. It has daily newspapers of all the languages which helps to improve current affairs. Medical facilities are not there. Sports and games are strictly banned in our college which is the main drawback of the college. They don't even encourage the students to participate in inter-college competitions. The quality of labs and classrooms is not bad but can be modified to some extent, which they won't. We don't have a canteen as many hostels are present outside. Every problem has a solution but they won't find a solution. They won't even think of it.
Faculty: The faculty is good. Our college is good for persons who are in search of knowledge but they lack in entertainment and other things. Courses are many. They have a proper curriculum which helps the students to improve their knowledge. Teaching methods are different but they reach the students' minds. The faculty is sufficient for the students.

Other: My College is nice and is affiliated to OU. It is good, academically as well. Lecturers are helpful and provide guidance to students whenever required, they even help us in making our projects. However, recently not many companies have been coming to campus for placements. But still, I would definitely recommend this college to others.

Overall it's been a good experience, only short coming is placements.
Placements: Sadly there is placement in Deccan college of engineering, earlier placement was there but as of now there are no placements. The placement cell is there but it is completely useless. The environment is quite restricted. I repeat there is no placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, classrooms are well maintained, library has sufficient amount of books available, sadly no in campus Wi-Fi available. The labs are well-equipped. No hostel facility available. And there is no canteen, so no questions asked.
Faculty: The lecturers are highly qualified and knowledgeable, yes had an industrial visit few weeks ago, the curriculum is old as it is given by osmania university. Digital as well as conventional teaching methods are employed. Some teachers lack the ability to explain properly, but overall it's a good experience.
Other: There are events once in a blue moon, no fest whatsoever, full scholarship is provided to eligible students.
