It is a really good institute with the best teachers and mentors.
Placements: This institute has managed to successfully recruit many trained teachers to different government schools within Uttarakhand. Any student who has qualified D. El. Ed from the institute and has managed to pass in TET-1 is eligible to apply for the post of government primary teacher whenever the notification for any such posts is published.
Infrastructure: Although our college was built in a traditional hilly setup, it has a well-equipped teaching hall, library, computer lab, hostels, subject-specific project labs and music room. Our college also has a canteen which usually works only during in-service teacher training.
Faculty: Though faculty members are less in number than the fixed standard, there are very helpful and well-qualified faculty members. They will not only help you with your curriculum but also with problems you face during the usual course of training. They are trained by the state education department.
Other: Our institute is situated in a fascinating hilly terrain. It is far away from Panchachuli hills, which are visible from here and extend up to the campus location.
