M.Sc. in Mathematics - Batch of 2026

It is a good college with good infrastructure and placement. In my opinion, you can go with this.
Placements: From this year onwards, DPG College is focusing on placement. The highest package is 15 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies here are Albamay and Triple Solution Limited. At least 70% of students from each batch get placed here. The top roles here are customer support, sales, and accounting.
Infrastructure: Facilities here are very good they always support you in your studies always try to resolve your doubt there is specific library for UG students and specific for PG students and in classroom white boaed are there classes are hitech Hostel are also good food is also good infrastructure wise the building is quite new.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They always try to resolve your problems and are always ready to help. Course curricula are relevant. This course makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite difficult. You need to prepare well to pass them.
Other: Overall, this is a good college you can go to.

B.Tech in Computer Science - Batch of 2028

Building and infrastructure are good. Study is also good with a good environment.
Placements: I am still not sure about the placement because my batch is the second batch in B.Tech. There is no batch of B.Tech that has graduated and been placed. HOD of our department has ensured that they will bring companies during placement, and the companies will be mostly that they bring for B.Sc. placement like Infosys, Cognizant, or nearby companies. The average package you can expect is 3 LPA - 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Building facilities are good. They have Wi-Fi in every building but the point is that students do not have access to Wi-Fi. Classrooms are big enough. One building is newly built so it is still in the development phase. Sports facilities are also available, and they organize sports competitions. I don't know about hostel and mess facilities because I am a day scholar.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and knowledgeable. They are good and have pretty much experience for teaching but there is always an exception. The same is with me till now there is one teacher who is not good at teaching according to me but she is not in college anymore. Faculty take tests too periodically to test our knowledge. Semester exams are not very hard but not easy too.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in coding. I want to make a career in coding. For my course, I don't want to improve anything, and the way is pretty good. They should improve events, fests, or say they should do events and fests. They have done maybe 2 or 3 events so far in 1 year, and that is also so low energy vibe. There is one more thing you will get your fee off by some thousand on the basis of your 12th percentage.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2025

Average teaching, decent facilities, average crowd, but the curriculum and placements need work.
Placements: Placements in our course were modest, with about 25% of students getting placed. Salary packages range from Rs.11,000 to Rs.18,000 per month, average of Rs.15,000. Maruti Suzuki India Limited was the top recruiter, mainly offering HR roles. Overall, placements need improvement.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on campus. The labs are normal and equipped for practical learning. Classrooms are air-conditioned, clean, and well-maintained. The library has all the required books and reference materials. Medical facilities are available on campus, and there are also facilities for sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers have only basic knowledge and are not highly knowledgeable. The teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is not fully industry-oriented. Semester exams are a little difficulty, and the overall pass percentage is around 69- 70%.
Other: I am from the B.Com (2022-2025) batch. I chose this course because of my interest in the subject. Classrooms are air-conditioned, clean, and the library has all the required books. Wi-Fi, medical facilities, and sports are also available. However, the teaching quality is average, and the curriculum is not fully industry-oriented. The campus crowd is average, and the placement percentage could be better. Cultural fests, extracurricular activities, and scholarships are available, and the campus is well-connected and safe.

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) - Batch of 2028

Great learning environment with strong placements and modern infrastructure - worth the investment.
Placements: Placement started in the final year. Major recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and HCL. Average package is 3.5 LPA. The highest package is 6 LPA. Placement support is good. Regular training and mock interviews are conducted.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are clean and equipped with projectors and whiteboards. Computer labs are well-maintained with good internet connectivity. Library has a decent collection of books related to the course and current affairs. Hostel is decent. Rooms are spacious, and food quality is average. Wi-Fi is available but limited to certain timings.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful and experienced. They are approachable and supportive. The curriculum is industry-relevant and includes subjects like java, python, web developer, and database management. Exams are conducted regularly every semester. College also gives importance to practical and project-based learning.
Other: Faculty members are student-friendly. College provides support for internships. The negative side is that administrative work is a bit slow. Good for middle-class students looking for decent education and placements.

It is a helpful college for the middle-class family.
Placements: A minimum of 60% of students got placed. The highest package is 8 lacs, and the lowest package ranges from 2 to 3 lacs. The average package is 3 to 4 lacs. Top recruiters include Amul and Airtel. 60% of students secured internships, with top roles offered including HR, manager, accountant, businessman, businesswoman, and entrepreneur. They provide innovative ways to develop skills such as emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills. There are many tips for managing personal and professional life.
Infrastructure: Classes are smart, air-conditioned, punctual, and helpful in guiding students, with strict rules against illegal activities like ragging. Regular exams are conducted to assess the students' IQ levels, and sessional exams are of good quality. There are plenty of sports activities and other cultural programs.
Faculty: All faculty members are NEET qualified, and the teachers are supportive, knowledgeable, and possess exceptional teaching quality. The course is relevant and affordable for middle-class families. Exams are easy and simple, with a passing percentage of 50%.
Other: The course has a good reputation, and all programs are held in the college.

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) - Batch of 2027

Absolutely unhappy because of the campus life.
Placements: Placement rate is 2/5. I am from the BCA 2024-27 batch. The placement situation in our course is not very impressive. Around 20-30% of students get placed. The highest package is around 4 LPA, but most students get 1.5 LPA - 2 LPA. The lowest salary is below 1.5 LPA. Very few reputed companies come, mostly local startups or training institutes. Internships are also limited, and only 10-15% of students get internships. Mostly through personal references or outside platforms like Internshala. Top roles offered are usually technical support, data entry, or trainee-level roles.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure rate is 2/5. The classrooms are okay but not very modern. Wi-Fi is available but often slow. Computer labs have outdated systems, and sometimes not all systems work properly. Library is decent but lacks updated books for BCA. Hostel facilities are average. Rooms are basic, and cleanliness is sometimes an issue. The mess food is repetitive and not very tasty. Canteen is small with limited options. Medical support is available but not very quickly. Sports facilities are minimal, mostly basic equipment and a small ground.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, but overall teaching quality is average. A few are knowledgeable, but many are just sick of reading slides. The BCA curriculum is somewhat outdated and not fully aligned with current industry needs. Semester exams are not very difficult, and most students pass if they attend classes and study before exams. Pass percentage is around 80-90%, but actual learning depends more on self-study than college support.
Other: I am from the BCA 2024-27 batch. I chose this course because I was interested in tech and wanted to explore software and programming. The best part is that the course gives a basic foundation in IT, and a few teachers do try to help. However, I wish the curriculum were more updated and focused on practical learning. More coding sessions, real-world projects, and industry exposure would help a lot.
