Student life in Dr. B. C. Roy.
Placements: Dr. B.C. Roy Academy of Professional Courses provides some good and saying very much seniors are in good placement with a good opportunity in top companies example Wipro, Google, and Microsoft. College only can't provide courses future college will be provided. Some sports future and other topics student future that's a very good point for college and I appreciate that. I am very impressed. The college will be seeing today or not only study but only other fields student of very impressive at this college.
Infrastructure: College is divided into student groups. Some student groups especially hired mentorship better guidance for students. The hostel faculty members are very impressive and their providing foods are very high quality foods good. College master providing any other options like sports cricket, singing, etc. Opportunities colleges are providing.
Faculty: This college exam service will be very impressive. The college must take before semester exams CA1, CA2, CA3, CA4, and PC1 one PC2 their internal exams for checking students' eligibility before semester exam. Then after the exam, some practical exams will be taken by the college to ensure students gather better knowledge.
Other: Dr. B.C. Roy Academy of Professional Courses is affiliated with MAKAUT, and has very nice faculty members and service provision, and students are very comfortable at this college.

Overall the college is good.
Placements: In my college, a minimum of 40% of students got placed from course. The highest package till now is 1 crore per annum. Top recruiting companies of BCA course are Infosys, Wipro, Infotech, BT Group, etc. Minimum 40% to 50% of students got internships on the basis of their attendance and academic marks.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in all buildings on campus. Labs are excellent all the monitors work properly. Projectors are there in all classrooms and the book bank and central library are available. The hostel facilities are good, 24/7 electricity and water supply is there. The food quality of the canteen and mess are good. You can also have the facilities for a medical emergency.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is perfect they can repeat the topic if students aren't able to understand. The semester exam in our college is not as tough as we think it is simple if we study properly. Pass percentage of the semester exam is 30% to 40%.
Other: I chose BCA to gain knowledge about software things and to make my career strong in this field. In college, all the events and fest are done by seniors and college. The campus surrounding is safe. College also do extracurricular activities for students.

Before 2022, placements were really good, but now there were average placements.
Placements: About 50% of the students were placed. Many of them are placed in MNC companies like SAP, Wipro, TCS, British Telecom, and Maventick, and many of them are placed in a startup company like Edudigm. A number of students do internships from Durgapur Ardent and many of them do from Kolkata from recognised organisations.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is also great. Many students are from Dhanbad, Purulia, Bankura and various places. They stayed in the hostel. The hostel's food was also good. Wi-Fi, library, labs, etc. were provided by the college.
Faculty: The teachers were also helpful but some of the teachers were very bad because they did not teach properly as per the college studies. So I do not deem these teachers as good. Semester exams also happened as per the university's guidelines.

I do not recommend any students to enroll in this college due to issues with placements.
Placements: About 40 percent of students were placed in several companies. The highest package offered by a company was 4.5 LPA, which was presented by SAP at Pune. Additionally, many other companies visited for on-campus drives, such as BT, Hexaware, Wipro, and Cognizant.
Infrastructure: Yes, there were hostel facilities available. Many students from outside areas like Dhanbad, Bankura, Purulia, and so on stayed at the hostel, while others were day scholars. The hostel facilities were good, with the most eye-catching aspect being the hostel food.
Faculty: In my college, the teachers were generally very helpful, but some of them exhibited rude behavior, which negatively impacted the college environment. The semester workload was moderate, and before examinations, the faculty installed CCTV cameras to monitor the candidates.

Giving good placements in 2025 .
Placements: Placements percentage, salary packages, and recruiting companies can vary widely in our college from year to year. However, for proper placements, you can check the portals. They typically provide detailed statistics. Average packages are nice earned for a fresher. Internships need to be done by oneself.
Infrastructure: Faculty members, like Wi-Fi classrooms, are a proper trend in our college. Professors and staff are friendly and help in building careers from the beginning of the 1st year. Libraries are professionally managed. Annual sports days are held once a year. The only problem is transportation.
Faculty: Are having an experience of 13 to 15 years. Highly knowledgeable. They provide a decent study structure for the entire 3 years gap. The course really stands out in the industry. But polishing requires. Semesters are quite difficult. Require proper preparations else chance of getting backlogs. Overall, quite a trend and proper package.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty.
Placements: The BCA course has a placement rate of 1.39%, with the highest package ranging from 6-8LPA and the lowest package at 3LPA. The average package offered is 5.5LPA. Some of the recruiting companies include Qubited, Axicom Consulting, Nature Technologies, Jaro Education, and TCS. Additionally, 0.69% of students secured internships at a cloud caption company as content writers, with a stipend of 20k/month.
Infrastructure: Throughout the campus, complimentary Wi-Fi is accessible. There are smart classrooms equipped with projectors, as well as a central library. Additionally, there is a library located inside the APC building, where BCA courses are taught. Free Wi-Fi is also provided in the boys' hostels, although it is uncertain whether the girls' hostels have the same service. The campus has a total of three boys' hostels, but the number of girls' hostels is unknown. The food is of average quality, and medical facilities are available.
Faculty: The teachers at this college have average qualifications and knowledge, and they are not very helpful. The teaching quality is also average. Although the course curriculum is relevant, it fails to prepare students for the industry. The semester exams are not too difficult to pass, except for subjects that involve numerical problems. Therefore, I suggest considering admission to this college only if you excel in numerical subjects like mathematics. Otherwise, it may negatively impact your future.
