My honest review about my college.
Placements: DY Patil Institute of Management had a separate placement cell. Teachers in the placement cell guided and coached us in all aspects of attending an interview. We were coached in such a way that we gained the confidence to crack any interview without fear.
Infrastructure: I did not experience the hostel facilities or the mess food at DY Patil Institute of Management. However, I had friends who stayed in the college hostel. Since I never visited them, I can't say anything specific about the hostel or the mess food, but they always seemed to enjoy facilities provided.
Faculty: Courses were offered on specific campuses, which created a lot of inconvenience for students who had to travel between campuses. Faculty members of the institute were very friendly, motivating, and helpful. They were always available to students both in and outside the college for any help or clarification regarding courses, subjects, personal queries, future plans, career discussions, etc. I never came across a situation where I didn’t receive help from any of my teachers. The course curriculum was a bit outdated, but professors brought in lots of new topics for discussion. The pedagogy was also somewhat outdated, considering the fact that many other MBA institutes had more innovative teaching styles. Some of courses were offered only on specific campuses, which created limitations.

College Life at Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute Of Management & Entrepreneur Development, Pune.
Placements: This is the first batch of MCA so there is no alumni network present here, and also no placement history is present. But the college is trying to provide good opportunities to the students, but I can't say anything clearly about it. It can be improved in the future as the new batches come and go.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the institute is good. A lot of construction work in ongoing for future. Overall, it's a good infrastructure and the college has all the necessary facilities in the campus. Wi-Fi, computer labs and a canteen are present here.
Faculty: Faculty are good and helpful in nature but not so good experienced in teaching. You have to make efforts on your own to get good marks in the examination. The college is trying to onboard new experienced faculty members so this can be improved in the future.
