It's really an affordable college with great faculty and a supportive environment.
Placements: Placement for B.A. students of FAC is limited, with around 50-80. Average packages offered are modest. About 20-30% students managed to secure internships, mostly in NGOs, teaching institutions, and social organisations in educational activities.
Infrastructure: College has decent infrastructure for the students. Classrooms are spacious, library is well stocked, and WI-FI is available in certain areas, and the sports facilities are good, with ground and equipment for football, volleyball, and other activities.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, approachable, and very supportive. Teaching quality was good. Course was useful for academic growth and higher studies. With proper preparation, most students passed easily, with a percentage remaining above 70-80%.
Other: I chose FAC because it is reputed for its faculty and supportive environment. Best thing is the strong foundation it provides for higher studies and competitive exams. Courses could improve by adding more practical exposure, workshops, internships, and career-oriented activities. College has an active fest and extracurricular activities. Scholarships are available, and the peaceful surrounding of Mokokchung makes the campus atmosphere enjoyable.

Satisfied with faculty, facilities, and good infrastructure. Overall, good college.
Placements: Students with 50% are selected for the Bachelor of Science. Students with 60 percent are selected for the Bachelor of Arts. College offers bachelor's level degrees in Science, Commerce, and Arts. Students who study get good placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. This is improving every year. Renovations are done frequently. Modern teaching facilities are provided, including touch boards, projectors, etc. The college has a well-equipped library. Labs are well-maintained. Classrooms are kept clean. The canteen is great. The hostels are average. The food provided is good for the cost of the mess fee. Medical facilities are provided. Sports and games are encouraged.
Faculty: Teachers are all helpful and very knowledgeable. They are all well-qualified and possess great teaching skills. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. Along with the major papers, there are many add-on courses, skill enhancement courses, etc. The pass percentage is above average. It depends on the student's overall performance, exams, internal assessment, and attendance of a minimum of 75%.
Other: There are a lot of different clubs and extracurricular activities. These encourage students to improve their social life and enjoy their college life.

B.A. (Hons.) in Geography - Batch of 2019

It had good faculty and a learning environment, but there was less space.
Placements: I was from the Geography Department, B.A. Batch 2019, at Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung. There was no formal campus placement cell for B.A. Almost 0 percent of students were placed through the college, though 10 to 15 percent got jobs off-campus on their own. There was no real package system, those who worked got an average of 1 to 2 LPA. Recruiters were local private schools, NGOs, and coaching centers in Mokokchung. Around 20 percent of students got internships in schools and NGOs as survey or teacher interns. Roles offered were assistant teacher and field investigator. Most students went for M.A., B.Ed., or NPSC preparation.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were good as they had smart boards, speakers, and microphones. Wi-Fi was accessible only to the teachers. The library had plenty of books according to the curriculum, but it needed more space. It was too crowded when tests came up. I was a day scholar, so I cannot comment on the hostels, but 5 boys' hostels and 6 girls' hostels were available at that time.
Faculty: Teachers in the Geography Department at Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung, were all qualified and experienced. They were helpful, knowledgeable, and approachable. Teaching was good, incorporating maps, fieldwork, and practicals. The curriculum was as per Nagaland University, relevant for higher studies and teaching, covering physical, human, and practical geography, but it needed extra GIS skills for the industry. Semester exams were moderate and not too tough if you studied. The pass percentage for the 2019 batch was 80 to 85 percent.
Other: I chose Geography because it is a diverse field where both Arts and Science students can take up the course. It also opened many opportunities in the future. The best thing about extracurricular activities was September Melange, where students could showcase their talents and skills. This was held annually. The only thing I wished to improve was the canteen, as more canteens should be opened.
