Very good exposure in this college.

Placements: Our college has the best placement records to date compared with other such colleges. We have a perfect placement record of 100%. Some of the leading companies, such as Adidas, Nike, Puma, and Reliance Retail, conduct on-campus interviews every year and recruit all the students. Over 120+ companies visit the campus on a yearly basis. Internships are available after the third year. Alumni and faculty are very supportive and provide us with helpful contacts. I haven't had time for any internships yet, so I don't have much knowledge in this field. However, our faculty does ask for our CVs and regularly updates us with any internship opportunities they find. Most internships are unpaid.

Infrastructure: The college is a very positive place where students can build a strong career base. It is a true education hub where you will be so engrossed in learning new things that you will be away from any negativities around you. The hostels here are of the best quality. The semester-wise charges for the hostel are 18,000 for both boys and girls. Top-class facilities like recreational rooms, dining halls, and indoor games are provided to us there. Our college excels in all aspects, be it academics or extracurricular activities. There are many clubs in our college, such as the Dramatics Society and Literary Clubs. Paramount importance is given to sports here, as there are many outdoor sports facilities provided to us. The labs are well-equipped and make use of the latest facilities for research work.

Faculty: We have the best faculty from all over the globe. Our faculty majorly consists of professors from foreign countries who have completed their training from leading institutes. Apart from studies, they tell us about various career opportunities and always support us in our work. The course curriculum here is very vast, as we are given in-depth knowledge of all the subjects. We have an equal proportion of theoretical and practical subjects. Some of the courses include a deep analysis of the concept of footwear design, including their materials, colors, and accessories.

If you want to take admission in a good fashion design course, then take admission in it.

Placements: As it is, government institute placements are very good. In the third-year, companies that visit our institution include Bata, Woodland, and other leather brands. At least 70% of our students are placed in good companies with at least INR 5–6 lakhs per annum packages.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. It is a very large campus with separate boys and girls hostels. There is full Wi-Fi on campus, but in the hostel it is very slow. There is full CCTV on campus, and security guards are there. Classrooms and labs are well furnished. There are basketball courts, volleyball courts, and cricket grounds. In the hostel, there are four meals a day: breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner.

Faculty: Faculty members are good; they are well educated. They make students industry-ready. In labs, they trained us on how leather is used and gave us projects to make things from raw leather, which is very helpful. There are two semesters in a year conducted by the college.

Other: It is a good institute.

Bad position. Average infrastructure. Good Faculty.

Placements: The campus recruiting rates are not much, but our college professors are helpful and provide us with great contacts and help us build our portfolio and professional CVs to get into top brands. The top roles offered are merchandise, visual merchandise, design, assistant designer, etc. 100% of students get internships in our course while studying in our college. Our professors and even alumni support you and give you the right career direction. The average package offered is 2.5-3.5 lacs per annum. The highest is six lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: Our labs and classrooms are fully air-conditioned. Although at present some of the ACs are non-working. Wi-Fi is provided to the students living on the campus. The library is well maintained, with relevant books always in stock. The food quality of the mess has been okay till 2022-October. But recently, all food items available have been upgraded for the students. The only drawback is the position of the college. It is very far away from the proper Kolkata city and requires at least 40 minds of traveling. College buses are given for day scholars.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. But since we are in college after 2nd year will be prepared for learning most things by ourselves. Teachers will guide you, but unlike some colleges, our teachers do not spoon-feed you after the first two years. Assignments are always going to be there. Fashion design is all about practical work so, be ready to lose some sleep over assignments. The course curriculum has been recently updated. And I find the new curriculum way more relevant than the one we studied in our first year. So yes, there has been some improvement in the curriculum too. The exams are not hard. If you're an average student then it's easy to pass. In a class of 40 students barely three students fail, but they are given a chance to clear the exam in the same semester.

Other: Events are almost always organized by the students. Our college doesn't organize events for its students. We organized for ourselves. Although sports week and certain government. Organized events like Swachh Bharat are celebrated under the guidance of teachers.

Placements: Our college placement record is the best. There is a separate placement cell for students. It has a central placement at Noida Campus. Students get the best opportunities from reputed brands like Zara, Pantaloon, Designer Labels etc. Jobs offered are visual merchandiser, designer, assistant designer, etc.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are provided during academics, and the hostel is located on campus. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Mess and canteen facilities are available for students. Healthy and nutritious food is available. Wi-Fi is provided to students to use on laptops for knowledgeable research works along with top forecasting website subscription.

Faculty: Our college has a well-designed course curriculum for every stream. Teachers are well qualified, helpful, and supportive. Their teaching quality is very good and interesting. Students also get the opportunity of industrial visits, trade fairs, fashion shows, online workshops, etc.

Other: The campus is located in the well-developed Kolkata leather complex. A sports week and cultural activities are conducted here.
