A very good and strict (for UG students) college, promoting education and self development.
Placements: Talking about the placements for ME students, core field companies are less interested in recruiting the master's students. The placement coordinators of the college try to pitch in the companies to recruit the master's students. So some companies do agree over it. Considering my batch, two of my colleagues were places in Infosys. Many companies visit this college for placements, out of them if they require master's candidates, the placement team informs us. The T&P cell is excellent here.
Now for the placements for BE students, lots of companies like L&T, L&T Infotech, Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Alstom and many more visit the college every year recruiting many students.
There is kind of 100% placement for eligible students. It's one of the top colleges in Gujarat for under graduate program. If you are capable and eligible according to the company criteria, you will surely get placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, not the best. Though the college has received an award for best infrastructure, so it might be because it has a vast area, well-equipped laboratories, Wi-Fi facilities for every student. It was established long time ago, so when you go inside some classes, you can feel that it is an old construction. But still it's good. The college got a new building constructed for civil department, also an other F block has been made which is all new and gives out a new fresh vibe.
The seminar hall and the auditorium both have a good capacity for accommodating students. Both are equipped with air conditioners.
The library has another dedicated building, and the collection of books is very vast. From general reading to all technical books, you can find all the required information. Plus, it has a reading room with good capacity, the books issued and fines are strictly monitored here. During exam time you can issue a book for as long as 1 month and more. Otherwise, it's 1week.
The parking space, canteen, grass lawn, fountain are also optimum, nothing bad about it. The quality of food in the canteen is very good and hygienic.
The hostel facilities for girls and boys are also present. The boys' hostel just got a new building where the rooms and restrooms are of very good quality. Otherwise, the old hostel is average, nothing good about it. The food in the mess is like all the messes around the globe. Sometimes they make good, sometimes it's bad.
Faculty: The minimum qualification of every faculty is M.E/M.Tech over here. The faculty members for the post graduate students are almost PhD holders. Many of them have done their PhD from IITs.
The electrical department faculty members and others also are all very helpful. They guide you, give your personality a review also sometimes. There is one which people generally visit for getting motivated.
The teaching methods of teachers that I have studied from are very optimised. They prefer the power point presentation method for teaching. Visually aided so that the students can get the most out of it.
There are enough faculty members for addressing the students. Never has it happened that there is any shortage of faculty.
The labs being well equipped, the faculty members use full functionality for the proper explanation.
The college is well known for the electrical department which has many experienced faculty members and ease of teaching methods.
Other: Apart from all these, there is a tech fest (IMAZE), annual day, etc. conducted here. There are various technical and non-technical events conducted.
Recently, an international conference ISSP for the paper publication of masters students was conducted.
Various seminars, workshops, blood donation camps were also being conducted.
Industrial visits (IVs) are also arranged for the students. It's not that you will be taken only once for the IVs, but as they get the proper approvals from industries, the IVs are arranged immediately.
The attendance criteria for the under graduate students is very strict. The students must and strictly fulfil the criteria else they shall not be permitted for appearing for the exams. In that way, it's very strict.
No compulsion of any uniform.

Other: G.H Patel College of Engineering and Technology known as GCET is located in Vallabh Vidhaynagar, Anand. The faculty members for master’s degree in Industrial Engineering are highly qualified and specialized in their relevant subject. In the final year of the master’s degree, students are given the opportunity to work in the live industry projects, which is a good industrial experience. All over it is worth spending two years in this college for a master’s degree in industrial engineering.

Best college and this is like a journey of my life
Placements: The average package start from 4 LPA onwords. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, and all other companies related to my course. The percentage score required for an internship is 6.1 CGPA or above. However, for a different year, different criteria are enforced. In my course, the top roles are Programming, Networking, and Software engineering.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure with good facilities. The labs are good and clean and the latest computers are installed in every department. Wi-Fi is also enabled in all departments. The classrooms are also maintained good and we get a library which has a silent environment allowing us to concentrate on our studies. All books are available there along with newspapers for gaining knowledge.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful to those who have doubts in lectures and lab sessions. The teachers are all highly qualified and knowledgeable in this college. The curriculum is very relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. There are some difficulties in the mid-semester and students who aren't able to qualify in the first attempt are required to reappear.
Other: I am interested in this course where all activities are carried out.

Review of G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: I did not get placed, but there were lots of companies and organisations visited here for an interview. Almost 80% of the BE students get placed. The college has one of the best placement cells in GTU. Infosys and TCS have frequently visited the campus for interviews. Even good history with L&T and many other companies.
Infrastructure: EC and IT students should not miss the chance to study in this college. Electrical and mechanical are also a good choice in this college. You will get the best entertainment for studies and extracurricular activities. Many students decorate the corridor by their creative mind. Garden and fountain are the main attraction for the students.
Faculty: There are well qualified and highly skilled faculty members. Many of them are PhD holders from well-known universities like IITs and BITS. Especially their supportive nature will help you to clear your doubts and motivate you for the new inventions. IEEE zone is also conducted by faculty members and students. Higher experience and dynamic vision of the faculty members is the key to the success of every student.
Other: There are cultural events held every year. Sports and technical events are organised by students. One can get the best experience of these events.
