All the latest updates regarding GATES Institute of Technology admissions are as follows:
- The AP EAPCET 2026 registration process has started for admission to the BTech and BPharma courses. The last date to register without a late fee is Mar 7, 2026. Further, the BTech exam is going to be conducted from May 12 to May 15, 2026, and on May 18, 2026. The BPharma exam is going to be held from May 19 to May 20, 2026.
- The AP ICET 2026 registration portal is now open for the admission to the MBA/PGDM course. Students can register till Mar 2, 2026, without a late fee. The exam for the same is scheduled to take place on May 2, 2026.
- The XAT 2026 result is out for admission to the MBA/PGDM courses. Students need to log in to the official XAT portal to access and download their scorecard.
- The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech and PhD courses has concluded. Results are scheduled for release on Mar 19, 2026.

Review of GATES Institute of Technology.
Placements: More than 50% of students in our batch are placed successfully. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.4 LPA. Top companies include Accenture, Cognizant, Chorizo, 24/7.ai, etc., and many students also got internship opportunities from institutions like GQT, G-Tech, etc. In my course, the top roles are data analyst, data scientist, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college is very well equipped with all the facilities, like the library, laboratories, digital classrooms, and Wi-Fi for every department. We have very friendly faculty and also a placement and training department for placement opportunities and training purposes.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly when it comes to teaching and guiding for projects, internships, etc. Everyone is an experienced and knowledgeable faculty member. The course I've taken is curriculum-relevant and makes the students industry-ready.
Other: It is a very good college for educators and a very culture-friendly college.

Great campus life and learning.
Placements: I joined the course because it offers good and reliable jobs, and job opportunities tend to be quick after completing the course. Of course, it is tough, but once we understand what we need to do, we can secure qualified jobs. Many people are also joining this branch because there is high demand. My batch is good, and everyone is very energetic.
Infrastructure: Our college's infrastructure is not that bad; they maintain it well. However, there are some problems. We get our needs met adequately. The hostel is good, with a special feature—nature surrounds it—so we get fresh air and enjoy the outdoors.
Faculty: The faculty are good at responding. They are highly qualified lecturers. They give us just what we should do, so that we take from them what we want for the exam. The curriculum is also good. They were conducting strict rules that were also punishable if any mistake was made.
Other: I'm from B.Teach CSE 2027 batch at GPREC. I chose this course because I’m interested in coding and teaching. It offers good learning opportunities and career prospects. More hands-on practice would be beneficial. Campus life is excellent, with festivals, clubs, a good crowd, connectivity, and scholarship support.

Decent infrastructure and supportive faculty, but placements affected by the recession.
Placements: Due to the recession, no students are placed directly this year. Instead, some are selected for internships based on company requirements. For now, the highest package is 6.5 LPA, but it falls around 3.5 to 6.5 LPA on average. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Accenture, and Cognizant, mainly for sales-based roles. Around 10-15 students are selected for internships. Most selections are in training-based and startup companies. In my course, roles are Junior Data Analyst, and higher roles are offered with experience in the field.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi in the college is provided for students. Labs are good with more seats, in good condition, and have a speed internet connection system for students. In the library, you are provided with references like books and recent papers on your subjects. Sports events are also conducted for events.
Faculty: For my course, I have the best faculty members for the core subjects. They are very cooperative and support based on the subjects. They will guide me until my graduation is complete. The curriculum for my course is relevant, and it depends on student's enthusiasm to prepare for the industry. For my semesters, I have received papers from JNTUA, and you may know about JNTU papers. There is a maximum pass percentage.
Other: Data Science is the upcoming future for students. By completely finishing this course, you can place more packages. Events are conducted, and more activities are also done.

Our college is good for all students.
Placements: In our college, there are more than 60 members like 66 members in our branch. In that, only 6 members got placed in our course. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.50 LPA. The top recruiting company of our college is Infosys, which is available only for girls. The percentage of students who got internships from my course is 30% in companies like Tap Academy, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course are labs, classrooms, and the library. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is average. The quality of food is average sometimes. The canteen maintenance is good. Medical facilities are available. It has sports like cricket, volleyball and kabaddi.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful according to the department subjects. The other department subject teachers are not very helpful. The teaching quality is also above average. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in our college are very strict. The pass percentage of our branch is more than 60%.
Other: I chose this course for my future purpose. The best thing about our course is to learn all types of computer languages to become a developer and tester. I wish the college would provide practical knowledge. Every year the college organises events.

It is the best college for engineering.
Placements: Mostly 80% of students get placed in our college. The highest package is 9 LPA and the lowest package is 2.4 LPA. Students get placed in top companies like Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. Many students got internship offers from top MNCs and startup companies. They offered different roles like sales, testing field, software development, etc. TPO is good for giving placement training.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The internet facility is also available in our college. Labs and libraries are also good and high equipment allows to work students.
Faculty: Teachers are well-wishers of students and teaching is good. All qualified teachers are teaching in our college. They share their experience with students. They also provide career guidance to students. They finish the subject based on the curriculum date.
Other: In my course, there are the most friendly facilities. I also wish to increase the strength of faculty members. Every year it organises events. In our college, events organised are good and sports are helpful in every event.

The college has a good campus with clubs and societies.
Placements: Our college provides a lot of placements in companies like Capgemini, Wipro, Mindtree, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, etc. Many students got placed in our college. This college provides placement training for better improvement of students and to perform well in placements.
Infrastructure: The college has hostels for both boys and girls. There is security regarding the hostel which helps girls to stay more safe. There is a Wi-Fi connection in all labs. In college, each floor has one Wi-Fi connection to help students with disturbances regarding internet connectivity. The college has modern laboratories, well-maintained classrooms, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The college has a digital library and a medium-sized library.
Faculty: The college has good faculty members. The course curriculum is relevant and industry-focused. There are well-educated lectures in our college.
Other: Our college has many branches like data science, artificial intelligence, and cyber security. Recently, our college conducted a fest named Amigos Band. It was a super fest in my college and it never happened in past years.
