The alumni network at GIBS is very active and involved in student placements in a very meaningful manner. Be it through guest lectures, mentoring sessions, or networking meets, over 2000+ alumni spread across industries and geographies return to campus, thereby helping the students bridge the gap between academic learning and the real requirements of any particular industry.Alumni often refer current students to job or internship opportunities in their organizations, advise on career paths, and help students with resume building, interview preparation, and professional guidance, thus making the placement ecosystem more robust.During placement drives, alumni may also assist through evaluation, recommendation, or even facilitating a connection with recruiters, which strengthens the prospects for good offers for students. As an outcome of this mutually helpful relationship, GIBS tends to have placement and internship outcomes that are influenced not only by institutional efforts but also by the personal networks of past graduates.
