Delhi University PG Admissions 2025

University of Delhi offers 88 PG programmes through CUET PG 2025 examination in various domains like Science, Humanities, Arts, Acharya, and Literature/ Language domains. In order to get admissions to the courses offered at DU, candidates need to register for CUET PG 2025 application form. NTA, the examination-conducting body is likely to release the CUET PG 2025 exam notification in the third week of October 2024, tentatively.

Delhi University PG Admissions 2025: Important Points

Before starting the preparation for PG courses offered by Delhi University through the CUET PG 2025 examination, candidates must read these points, as this will help them gain a better understanding of Delhi University PG admissions through the CUET PG 2025 examination:

  • Admissions to all Postgraduate Programs at the University of Delhi (UoD) and Non-Collegiate Women Education Board (NCWEB) will be based on the scores obtained in the Common UniversityEntrance Test (PG) – 2025.
  • Before registering for CUET (PG) - 2025, the candidate is advised to read the Bulletin of Information (BOI) carefully and consult the University of Delhi Act, 1922 and the Statutes. The ordinances, Rules, and Regulations of the UoD, available on the University website, would be binding on him/her.
  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying degree examination/ candidates whose results were pending are eligible to appear in CUET (PG) - 2025. However, they must fulfil the Minimum Eligibility Criteria at the time of admission. Before appearing in CUET (PG) – 2025, candidates must ensure that they fulfill the program-specific eligibility. They must appear in the CUET paper as per the requirements of the specific program. For syllabus of the CUET paper, refer to pgcuet.samarth.ac.in.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD/CW will have to upload a valid certificate or document while applying to UoD’s CSAS (PG)-2025. The name of the candidate claiming the reservation must match the Candidate’s name as it appears on his or her corresponding School Board qualifying certificates and in CUET (PG) - 2025. Similarly, the parents' names must also match in the certificates.

For CUET PG there is no age limit for candidates.

Candidates who have passed the UG degree or are appearing in 2026 irrespective of their age can appear in CUET (PG) 2026.

But candidates need to fulfill age criteria of the university.

Students can choose up to four subjects in the CUET PG 2026 exam. The choice of subjects would depend on the course studied in graduation and the universities opted for.

For admission in Universities through CUET (PG)-2026, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc. of the respective University shall be applicable.

As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programs. Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the eligibility criteria laid down by the University they are applying to.
Mere appearance in the Entrance Test or securing pass marks at the test does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission to the Programme unless he/she fulfils the Programme wise eligibility conditions of the University they are applying to.

To apply to universities for admission based on your CUET PG scores, you need to follow the process given below.

  • Check the eligibility criteria for the universities and courses you are interested in.

  • Upload your CUET PG scorecard and other required documents. 
  • Pay the application fee. 

In case the students are shortlisted for admission, they have to visit the campus to verify their documents and pay the admission fee. One of the important stages of filling out CUET PG 2025 application form is selection of university programme list. Candidates are advised to select their desired university and programme offered through it wisely, otherwise it may create hindrances in the CUET PG 2025 counselling process.

Step 1: After adding the exam centre city preferences, candidates will then have to select the University/Programme selection (Delhi University)

Step 2: In this section, candidates are required to select the university name first and then select the programme name. Likewise, candidates can select up to four universities and its allied programmes offered. After adding the university programme choices, save the details and move on to the next sections.

Step 3: In this section, candidates need to add the test details. Add the test paper subject code from the drop-down options mentioned in the window. After adding all the respective test paper codes of the university programme list which was selected in the previous step, save the details.
