Review of Gokaraju Lailavathi Women's Engineering College.
Placements: The recent placements include early placements for third-year, second-semester students before they pass out of college. Around 70 students get placed in TCS, Wipro, and some other companies. The strength of each academic year is around 500 students. The highest package is around 40 LPA, but it depends on the student. The average package is around 4-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: There is no regular sports schedule except for the annual sports event conducted every year. But students can use the GRIET ground for sports activities after college hours. The classrooms and campus are well maintained and hygienic. We have a library, and Wi-Fi is available in every classroom.
Faculty: The first-year teachers are quite helpful, but it still depends on the individual teacher. Each class has 64 students and is divided into two equal batches, with a respective mentor assigned to each batch. One issue with the semester exams is that students have to travel a lot, sometimes for an hour or more, because the exam centres are at other PU-affiliated colleges.

Good college with good placements.
Placements: The placements are good enough. Mostly 90% of our seniors got placed into good MNC's, and they are placed with a good package. Our college management makes sure that all the students get placements. Many top companies come to our college for placements.
Infrastructure: The college is well constructed. It is pleasant and peaceful. The premises of the college are also good. The college locality is good. The college is neat and clean. They make sure that the college is cleaned every day. The benches are neat and clean.
Faculty: The faculty is very supportive and very understanding. They guide you through everything. They teach very well. Finish the topics in time. They make sure everyone is doing well.
Other: The classroom has limited strength, so the lecture goes well. No good because we will not have many events in our college. There are only a few limited events.

It's a decent college with not-so-good placements.
Placements: Our seniors' batch didn't have good placements. The average package is 3 LPA, though companies like TCS. Around 20 percent of them got placed with 3 LPA-9 LPA packages. Internships are rare mostly you get them off campus through referrals, but with teachers' help you can make it.
Infrastructure: The college is inside the GRIET campus, it's a 3-acre, 2-building campus with all labs. Wi-Fi barely works there, and there is no hostel facility provided by the college you will have to stay in nearby PG's. There is a college hostel, but it's far away you'll have to travel by bus and since there's no campus life through the college hostel, most of them don't choose it.
Faculty: Faculty are really good (excluding lab faculty). They make students industry-ready. Semester exams are conducted by OU since it's affiliated with it. You'll have to go to another college to write the exam, and it's quite manageable. 85 percent is the passing percentage.
Other: The best thing is the faculty is good. Events, fests, activities are out of syllabus for us, and the campus crowd is okayish.

Disciplined college for girls.
Placements: I belong to Gokaraju Lailavathi Women's Engineering College, from the Information Technology stream, 2025 pass out. Around 60 percent students are placed in my course. The highest package is 33 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. Top recruiter companies are TCS, Cognizant, and Capgemini. Around 20 percent students got internships in MNCs. The role offered is software developer to most of them.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi available in every class, library, and lab. We have a hostel outside the college, around 800m away. The quality of food is very good in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities are also available in emergency situations. The college conducts sports every year and has a sports cluster. We have teams to play volleyball, cricket, and kabaddi too.
Faculty: Every faculty is an assistant professor, well-qualified and has good knowledge. Teaching quality is 3/5. Our college is OU-affiliated, so we have an OU-prescribed syllabus, which is very much relevant to our course. It makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult, and the pass percentage is 90 percent.

There are very good placements in 2024.
Placements: So many students are placed in our college. Many companies are recruiting, and a lot of our students are placed with a good package. Top companies are recruiting, and so many people have been placed in top companies. The highest package is 33 LPA.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good. The class are very clean and neat. Every cleaning is done. Wi-Fi is provided for every class, and a canteen is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful at clearing doubts, and they are good at teaching. Curriculum is good, and it is very relevant, it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are held in the college. The pass percentage is 75%. Faculty are well-trained and certified teachers who are good at explanation.
Other: I chose it because I like this course.

Dissatisfied because of no events, and also average infrastructure.
Placements: Placements are good and nice. There are a few clubs for the students which are only about studies and coding skills. Last year, up to 180 students out of 260 got placements. For girls, it is one of the colleges for placements, but few failed as it's OU affiliated.
Infrastructure: Hostels are not good. Rooms are not good. One will feel suffocating and irritated in hostel for sure. Food is also not at all worthy. Hostel fee is 1,70,000, but food is not at all worthy of the fee. Rooms are also not cleaned properly.
Faculty: Faculty is very great. Teachers are very kind to students. Their teaching skills are also very good. Curriculum-wise, as the college is affiliated to Osmania University, exams are difficult and also confusing. Exams are not difficult but very useful for future.
Other: No events at all properly, so don't join.
