Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2027

Please don't consider this.
Placements: If you’re coming to this college, then please don’t expect placement. Its the least possible thing college is concerned about. Almost every student here is either for Masters or has a family business, here for just a degree. Barely any student gets placed.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are just natural saunas. Just walk 5 minutes you’ll complete the campus tour. The labs and library are decent. Sports facilities are barely accessible. Never saw a medical facility here, so don’t know. Hostels are really small but decent. Don’t get food from that canteen.
Faculty: The teachers are graduates from Punjab University only. Some are good, some are not. Subjects are good, but the way they are taught is pretty outdated. Even in the exams, they expect you to write a minimum of 7-8 pages for each answer just to take a decent grade.
Other: No extracurricular activities. The worst crowd (fight happening all the time).

It has excellent campus infrastructure, but poor placements.
Placements: The placement scenario for our batch has been quite underwhelming. Regarding internships, the college assistance is minimal and most students have to find internships on their own without much guidance from the placement cell. The packages offered are generally on the lowest side.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is undoubtedly the strongest aspect of the college. There is a well stocked library with Wi-Fi. The reading room is great for self-study. The canteen food is quite decent but not so good. Students also get medical and sports facilities to use.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful. They often go out of their way to assist students with their doubts. The course curriculum is average enough to make students career ready, but it can definitely be improved with more modern industry relevant projects.

First Semester: Promising start; Room for growth.
Placements: I have seen in the brochure and also heard from many people that many students got good placements even during their course. Many companies like Deloitte visit our college. 60% of the students got internships in good companies. The highest salary package is 25 LPA.
Infrastructure: I am not sure about the hostels as I am not a hosteler, but I heard from students that the rooms and the washrooms are maintained very well. The labs are equipped with the latest software and technology. The classrooms have the material that is required by the teachers to teach.
Faculty: The faculty quality varies, so it is difficult to explain this. If we see exams, they are challenging but fair, though frequent. The curriculum is standard with a mix of both theory and practical. The curriculum was mostly relevant and up to date. Most teachers were helpful and approachable.
Other: The best part of any course is learning new things and meeting new people. I wish there were more guidance on how to choose courses and plan for the future. Also, more practical experience would be great.

Satisfied with faculty. The college is good at annual placements and has good infrastructure.
Placements: For the B.Com 2024 batch, the placement rate was 50–85%. A total of 121 students get placed. The highest package was 7.5 LPA, the average package was around 6.23 LPA, and the lowest package was around 3.82 LPA. Top recruiters are Deloitte, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank. Top roles offered were Analyst and Deputy Manager.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good compared to other colleges under Panjab University. There is a Wi-Fi in some parts of the college. There is a proper library for study. Labs are well maintained. The college also has a good record in games, and it has won many medals in shooting.
Faculty: Faculty in the college is good. They are all well qualified and have deep knowledge of the subjects they teach. Examinations are not very tough, as they are predictable by analyzing previous papers of Panjab University.

S.D. College life in Chandigarh, good faculty and superb crowd.
Placements: No placements were given to us, specially to students from Bachelors fields. There were no internships, sadly, and there were no industrial visits. It doesn't make us industry ready. I think commerce students got some placement opportunities, but I'm not really sure.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really pleasing, however, in rainy season, a lot of water stores up in the garden area. Our block benches were a bit old, but most classes were held in commerce block! Wi-Fi was given in library. The canteen food was nice, however, limited options were there.
Faculty: Teachers were quite helpful, well qualified, and knowledgeable. They were quite friendly and taught us in different ways. The course curriculum was very much relevant, but I don't think it makes us industry ready. The semester exams are quite average, and one can easily pass.
Other: I chose this course because I had to give government exams, and the best thing about the course was it gives us flexibility and opens up too many opportunities. I wish there were enough internships and placements, there were numerous seminars, events, and clubs in our college.

Goswami Ganesh Dutt Sanatan Dharma College is a good college.
Placements: The college has its own placement cell, and MNCs visit the campus, like Delliote, which is a regular visitor for internships and jobs. For an undergraduate course, the average package ranges from 6 LPA to 10 LPA, depending on your skills and knowledge.
Infrastructure: The college is no doubt small in terms of area and non-AC classes, but it has a furnished library and has Wi-Fi on campus. The college has 3 canteens, there exists a sports department, but no proper sports grounds on the campus. The hostel is worth the money, with all facilities and the best part of the college.
Faculty: There are mid-semester exams and then the university exams. The MSTs are relatively tough to pass and are compulsory, as the university exams are easy to pass. The curriculum is comprehensive and related to other universities historically.
