University Institute of Legal Studies is the best law college you can be in.
Placements: The placement game in our college is not so good. There are a few reasons for that. Our college, being in Chandigarh, is more inclined towards litigation and the judiciary. But after this 3-year rule in the judiciary, there is a slight shift towards corporate placements. The trend is still developing. As far as the recent stats are concerned, around 20 students from our college get placements of around 6–8 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good. The department is situated on university campus in the heart of Chandigarh, so all facilities are easily available. The hostels are quite good. The food is good, and they are flexible as they cook whatever you like. Classrooms, Wi-Fi, and library facilities are also good. Being on university campus, we have access to the main AC Joshi Library as well.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and reputed. Each of the professors has books published in their names. They are warm and welcoming too. The curriculum is designed well. It makes students industry-ready and gives practical exposure. Semester exams are not very difficult. Students get a lot of time to intern.
Other: The city is good, and being in a university, you get to meet lots of people and perspectives. Life uniquely shapes you, and you will always carry a part of Panjab University in your heart.

The ROI is decent enough.
Placements: For the 2022–2026 batch, the placement statistics show that 80.15% of students are placed overall. If I talk about the IT branch, 86.27% of students get placed. The average package overall is around 8.77 LPA, which is decent enough. If you work very hard, you can also get into companies like American Express and Goldman Sachs. However, keep in mind that there are very few openings, such as 4 for American Express. This might increase in the future, but currently, this is all. Overall, from a placement perspective, the college is decent enough for the ROI it provides.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college building is not up to the mark. The buildings are very old, and no proper PCs are used in labs. I am not satisfied with the infrastructure of the college building. However, the hostels they provide are decent enough. The fee is also very nominal, and generally, no problems are seen in terms of living in a Panjab University hostel. Also, if you are from UIET, the chances are that you will get hostel 8, 7, or 6, which are decent.
Faculty: The staff here is good, but only if you contribute to your studies. You have to be active and take the initiative to meet faculty members for any problem. They are very helpful, and this might help you in the future if you try to make genuine connections with faculty members here. Also, in the lecture halls, the staff usually does their job of teaching without forcing anyone to study. So studying here is mainly in your own hands.
Other: I chose this course because I think the ROI this college provides is good enough. According to my rank, this college is the one where I can get a technical branch. Also, the city of Chandigarh itself brings a lot of opportunities while you study. The crowd is also good here.

A good college experience.
Placements: Placements in my college are average. A few companies visit the campus every year. Students who prepare well can get good opportunities, and I personally recommend joining the college for an undergraduate degree that you want, as it is helpful for others also.
Infrastructure: Our college has decent classrooms, a library, and computer labs. The campus is clean and comfortable for studying. Good to visit as the college has a clean mess. Many visitors visit the campus to get an orientation of the college.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful and explain topics clearly. The course curriculum is useful and covers important subjects. We also have extracurricular activities, which make students more practical as other students also make collaborations.
Other: The college offers decent education at an affordable fee. It is a good option for students looking for a budget-friendly education.

Nice college but no placement.
Placements: No students were placed in our course in our college. No top roles and top recruiting companies in our course that offer placement. No average package is offered in our course by the companies. This year the college provided an internship to students for 15 days.
Infrastructure: The quality of food is very tasty and of good hygiene. Also good food is given to hostel students. Classrooms are also good. There is a big library and many books in it. Wi-Fi facility is available to all students no need for mobile recharge. The fashion designing lab and language lab are also avaialble in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is also good. The semester exams in college are okay not very tough and not very easy. About 65 percent of students pass in college semester exams. There is no need to learn from textbooks.
Other: I have an interest in accounting so I chose a Bachelor of Commerce. A variety of subjects are available with no need for any improvement.

A good college with well-qualified and kind teachers.
Placements: There is no placement in our college. There are no top roles, no top recruiting companies offered in our course. No average package is offered in our course. No students got placed from our college. This year in the 2nd year of B.Com students get internships for 15 days.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are neat and clean. Wi-Fi facilities are also provided by our college. The library facilities also provided many books to students free of cost for the whole semester. The quality of food in the canteen is also good and the facilities in the hostel are also good.
Faculty: Semester exams in college are easy. More than 70 percent of students pass in semester exams. The teaching quality is also very good. Teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. They help students when they are required easily. Teachers are also well-qualified and educated.
Other: I want to become a chartered accountant so I chose B.Com. Our course covered many subjects that are required. The thing I want to improve is the freedom for girls to leave college.

Overall, it is a good college.
Placements: Till now, in the previous years, 0% of students from our course have been placed. There is no highest, lowest, or average package offered for our course. There are no top recruiting companies or specific roles offered through campus placements. In the fourth semester, students get a 15-day internship arranged by the college under a Chartered Accountant, tax consultant, or similar professional.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure available for our course is very good. Wi-Fi is available for both students and teachers. The library contains a large number of books used by students. There are also fashion design and language labs in the college. The food available in the college is good and tasty.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. They provide all the required study material to students. Exams in college are very easy. Sometimes questions from semester exams are repeated in the final exams. It is easy to score good marks.
Other: I chose B.Com as my undergraduate course because I studied Commerce in the 12th grade.
