Good for practical and not theoretical knowledge.

Placements: I am a final year physician assistant student with 80% of students placed in my course, and since this is a government hospital, we have 1 year of internship inside our hospital itself. No other packages are offered or job recruitment steps are taken. The only role most widely and highly offered is physician assistant.

Infrastructure: There are literally not many facilities and infrastructure available for this course or department from the college or hospital. No proper classrooms from 2nd year, and the restrooms, instruments, and so on are poor, to be honest. Sports and games, and cultural programs, are arranged by the students themselves in a poor-conditioned auditorium. There is no hostel, and the canteen or mess in the hospital is a private one.

Faculty: Some teachers are really very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but that's 20% for 100. Due to combined classes with other course students, they are taking classes outside the curriculum too, but they may seem useful since it prepares us for the semester. The exams are average, not too difficult, and the pass percentage is 90%.

Other: My batch is 2020-24, but due to COVID, we would graduate in 2025. This course can be selected by those who want to live a merely similar job life to a doctor. This course does not require a NEET exam to be cracked; it is based on your 12th class cut-off marks. We physician assistants are valued the same as the doctors, and since this is a government hospital, we gain a lot of practical knowledge and experience. There could be no better platform for this since this is a growing course, not many are aware of. It would be best for the doctors and professors who take classes for us to know what we physician assistants are. There are not many events organized by the college for AHS or nursing; these are only organized by the students themselves, but scholarships are provided. I think it varies from caste to caste, and other advantages like first graduate and disability scholarships are also greatly provided.
