NEET PG 2025: Registration for round-1 NEET PG 2025 counselling was started on October 17, 2025. Registration can be done at mcc.nic.in. Students have to register and declare preference of choices for seat allotment. National Board of Examinations (NBE) declared NEET PG 2025 result on August 19, 2025. Along with the result, NEET PG cut off 2025 scores have also been released for each category. Candidates can check NEET PG result 2025 and cut off for this year on the official website.

Q:   What is NEET PG 2026 exam date?
A:

NEET PG 2026 exam is expected to be held in August 2026. Candidates have to apply online to submit application form for NEET PG exam. Registration is mandatory to submit application for NEET PG. NBE will release dates and other crucial details such as application process, elligibility criteria, exam pattern etc along with the official brochure. Exam will be held computer-based.

Q:   Will NEET PG 2025 exam held in pen and paper mode?
A:

No. NEET PG 2025 exam was held in online mode on August 3, 2025. NEET PG question paper 2025 had 200 multiple choice questions and candidates were provided 3.5 hours to answer them. Candidates have to score the minimum cut off to qualify for the exam. Qualifying cut off differ for each category. NBE will declare NEET PG 2025 result online.

Q:   Will NBE provide final correction window for NEET PG?
A:

Yes. NBE will open final correction window for NEET PG. Candidates can rectify incorrect images uploaded along with NEET PG application form. It must be noted the correction window is opened to rectify incorrect images in the application form. Candidates have to login and rectify images such as photograph, signature, and thumb impression. It is the final opportunity to make changes in NEET PG application form.

NEET PG Seat Allotment 2025: Branch-wise Expected Closing Ranks

The branch-wise closing rank for NEET PG 2025 seat allotment will be officially released by Medical Councelling Committee (MCC) after the counselling rounds. However, on the basis of last year’s counselling rounds, experts have calculated the expected closing ranks for some branches of NEET PG 2025. Q:   Can I carry calculator at NEET PG test centre?
A:

No. Candidates can't carry any electronic item such as mobile phone, calculator, bluetooth, earphone to NEET PG centre. Some of the items which are not allowed at NEET PG centre have been enlisted below:

  • Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), notes, writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, etc.
  • All ornaments like bracelets, Ring, Earrings, Nose-pin
  • Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap etc.
  • Any eatable items and water bottle are also banned.

 

Q:   Has NBE revised date for NEET PG 2025?
A:

No. NEET PG 2025 exam was held on August 3, 2025 in single shift. On May 30, 2025, Supreme Court directed NBe to make arrangements to conduct exam in single shift. Candidates have to register online to submit application form for NEET PG 2024. As per the existing NEET PG pattern, the question paper comprises 200 multiple choice questions and candidates get 3.5 hours to answer them.

Q:   What are the chances of NBE extending NEET PG date?
A:

NBE extended NEET PG 2025 date after Supreme Court directed former to conduct exam in single shift.  The exam was postponed from June 15 to August 3, 2025. The exam will be held in computer-based mode in single shift. NBE had proposed August 3 as NEET PG 2025 revised date after Supreme Court ordered it to make arrangements to conduct exam in single shift. Later Sc allowed NBE to go ahead with August 3 as NEET PG 2025 revised exam date.
