If you have low budget like 1 Lacs for degree. Go for this college .

Placements: Well, I am a fresher in college and I am studying in first semester but seniors also say that this college don't provide any placement as it is a government and cheap college so please don't think that you will get any placement here. After passing out from government college, you have to find the job yourself.

Infrastructure: The college is in my hometown so I don't know about hostel. There is no hostel for this college, you have to buy you a PG if you want to study here out of your hometown. The infrastructure is very old which needs repair. Also desk, classroom, blackboard are very old which need repair .

Faculty: Teacher in this college just act like they are teaching but they are not. No one in this college will teach you good, you will have to study on your own. You can search topics on YouTube or from books but the truth is that the teachers in this college conduct classes but they don't know how to teach or they don't really want to.

Other: I am studying in a government college, Gurdaspur. The main advantage of being a student of this college is that it is very cheap. I am pursuing BCA honors. It is a four year course and my whole degree will cost me around 1,000,00 and this fees is without reservation or any scholarship. You can get you degree in 1 Lacs rupees approximately. Also this college is affiliated under GNDU ( Gurunanak Dev university) so reputation is also quite good .

The college is so big as you can enjoy and walk freely anywhere. There are also many playgrounds.

Placements: The majority of the students who don't come from adjacent villages select this college because it's the only government college in the area. This course does not offer placements; instead, you must obtain another degree in order to be placed. Here, internships are not available. This place offers top jobs in teaching.

Infrastructure: There are labs available, and the department has excellent infrastructure because it is surrounded by green space. Although they are available, hostels are rarely used by students because they would rather travel on a regular basis. All things considered, it's a good university if somebody wants to attend.

Faculty: Instructors are incredibly helpful and highly qualified. The course material is quite pertinent, but it doesn't prepare students for the workforce. Exams vary in difficulty depending on the person taking them. The pass rate is fifty percent. The professors are of outstanding quality and are a great assistance.

Satisfied by faculty but bad placements.

Placements: I have not yet graduated, but the placement value of our college is zero. You can just get a degree but not a job from here. No recruiting companies come here for employees. 0% of students get internships from any course by any companies. I wish there were more placements so that students can get jobs right after graduation.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay. The campus is large enough for the students. The labs are clean and properly equipped. There is a Physics lab, Chemistry lab, and a library, which is well-equipped. The canteen is okay. The food is okay but not great. The cleanliness of the college as well as the canteen is okay.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and intelligent. They are helpful also, and the teaching quality is nice. The exams in college are neither too easy nor very difficult. Students can pass the exams with good marks by studying the last 10 years' questions. The passing percentage is 33%.

Other: I chose B.Sc. because I wanted to study something in Science but I didn't like Biology. So I chose B.Sc. non-medical. I wish there were more events and extracurricular activities in the college. Also, there should be a high placement rate for students.

It is the best college in Gurdaspur for every student, and it's affordable.

Placements: I am currently studying at Government College, Gurdaspur. About 50-60% of students got placed in my course. The lowest package offered is 25,000, and the highest package is 50,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Punjab Police, Indian Army, Government Departments, and also private companies. About 47% of students got internships in my course in the government sector.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is quite good compared to other colleges in Gurdaspur. A computer lab, biology lab, physics lab, chemistry lab, botany lab, and a library, everything is available here. Wi-Fi is available in computer labs. Hostel rooms are not available. But the canteen is available and is highly hygienic. Every sports ground is available with all the equipment. Medical facilities are available. The infrastructure of our college is the best in Gurdaspur.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and highly qualified. They provide good knowledge not only of the subjects but also about life. The course is very good and makes students industry-ready. It allows you to give exams of higher posts or jobs. Exams are quite difficult. But it all depends on your preparation for exams.

Other: I chose this course to prepare for exams of high positions. It's very easy, and anyone can do this course. Honestly, I want nothing to improve in this course. It's is already good. Every event like sports day, annual function, flower show, and also seminars are held here.

Placements: The placement record is not much high but some placements have been carried out in this Government College. Many of the students who have graduated from this college and due to their good education have been placed in good companies. Intelligent and smart students of the Computer Department after their degree get 2 to 4 LPA packages.

Infrastructure: There is also a computer lab in the college and all the computers in the lab work properly and also the seating arrangement is good there. There is also a canteen, library and 6 playgrounds for various games. The college also has a stadium also for Army preparation.

Faculty: All teachers teach students very well. All teachers come to class on time and do not leave without an emergency. Students' exam results are also excellent every semester.

Other: I am very interested in computer lines and I also like coding, so I chose BCA. My dream is to develop an app of my own name which I can accomplish only through computer training. I would recommend to other students to take admission here because of the good study environment.
