Placements: A proud student of Government College Jind, our placement cell rocks. It prepares us with resume workshops, mock interviews, aptitude training & industry talks from the final year start. Top firms in banking, IT, govt jobs and teaching visit yearly. Many land 4 to 6 LPA packages. 70 percent plus placement rate. Super supportive for freshers like us.

Infrastructure: My college shines with top notch infrastructure, smart classrooms, a huge library, labs, and a auditorium. Hostels are comfy with Wi-Fi, good food, and 24/7 security. Perfect home away from home.

Faculty: A B.A. English (Hons) student at Government College Jind, our faculty is awesome, super qualified profs with MAs and PhDs who make lit come alive through fun seminars, debates, and personal chats. They push us to think deeply. Curriculum rocks over 6 semesters British classics like Shakespeare, Indian writers like Tagore, American lit, theory, linguistics, creative writing, plus electives in films/media. Builds killer analysis and communication skills. B.A. English Hons dives into global lit, theory, and writing over 6 semesters, sharpening critical skills for jobs in media, teaching, or civil services. Expert faculty with PhDs mentor via seminars. Exams mix internals and essays.

This college has no placement.

Placements: No big companies come here for placements. Only local small companies come. Placement cell just conducted mock interviews but there is no real outcome. Placement support is average. Most students have to find jobs on their own or go off-campus. The college does not invite quality recruitment.

Infrastructure: College has average infrastructure. There is a hostel for boys with a capacity of 200. College is not at all serious about placement. Hostel infrastructure may not be prioritised within broader institutions' investment in this hostel.

Faculty: Faculty members are the backbone of any educational institution and college. Their role goes beyond simply delivering lectures. They are mentors, guides, and role models who shape the academic and personal growth of students. A college with qualified, experienced, and supportive teachers.

We are not provided with good placement. There are good facilities in my college.

Placements: 20% of students were placed in our course. Mahindra is the top recruiting company for our course. Only 20% of students got internships from my course. There are no top recruiting companies for my course. 10%–20% of students got internships from my course. There are no top roles offered in my course.

Infrastructure: Only classrooms are available in my course. The quality of facilities like canteens, medical facilities, sports and games is good. Only kurkure, chips, cold drinks, tofu, samosa, patties, etc. are available in my canteen. Daal, chawal, and roti sabji like this food are not available in my canteen.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is not very good. Yes, this course is curriculum-relevant. No, it does not make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are not easy or difficult at my college. 33% is the pass percentage.

Other: I am interested in English. Teachers should be better at our course.

Review of Government College, Jind.

Placements: Only 25%-30% of our seniors got placements. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The top recruiter is SBI. Internships are offered to 50% of students. Top roles offered in our course are clerk, assistant, and some other jobs behind the desk.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good. Many rooms are like storerooms. Buildings are rusted. I am a day scholar. The canteen is good, and the food is also very good.

Faculty: Teachers are good, encouraging, well qualified, and trained, but most of them ignore doubts and keep on with their lectures. Exams are pretty hard as they do not give good grades to a lot of students. Overall, some teachers clear the doubts about all subjects.

Other: Events are held only a few times a year, but they are great.

Placements: Students who score 80% of marks are eligible for placements. Each week four hours of training sessions and technical skill programs are organised by our college. The highest salary offered was Rs 20,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs 10,000 per month.

Infrastructure: Library, sports, study rooms, and classrooms are available in our college. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The canteen is hygienic, and the food quality is also good. Our campus is clean. There are precautions in our college due to covid.

Faculty: All teachers are better and they make students understand very well. Mini projects are also conducted each semester. All skill-based training sessions are conducted. The pass percentage is 60%.

Other: Many events and festivals are organised in our college. There are two scholarships i.e., 1st is the national scholarship and the second is Ambedkar scholarship.
