GCT cannot give 100% scholarships directly to all M.Tech students, there is an opportunity to help financially through GATE scholarships, government scholarships, institutional or external scholarships. Government College of Technology (GCT) Coimbatore rarely provides 100% scholarship directly to all M.Tech students. But there are a few scholarships that can reduce the cost of pursuing an M.Tech degree: 1. Government Guidance GATE Scholarship: Students who qualify through GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) and get admission in M.Tech programs are eligible for monthly stipend from All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). It is a large portion of the scholarships that cover tuition and living expenses. Post-Matric Scholarship: Students belonging to certain reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) are eligible for federal scholarships, which can cover tuition fees and other expenses based on family income.

For General Category: The cutoff may range from 50% to 70% of the total marks depending on the programme and the competition. For reserved groups: The cutoff is usually small, usually 40% to 60% of the total score. The best way to get accurate and specific cutoff marks for M.Tech programs in GCT is to check the official resources or contact the college directly. According to my research, the cutoff rank for Mtech in GCT is 1717.
