It is one of the best colleges in Sumbal Sonawari.

Placements: Around 78% of students get placed in our course. Companies don't visit our college to recruit students as it is a new college. Top roles are offered in our course.

Infrastructure: Labs are available in our college. They have a Wi-Fi connection. The canteen is available. Students from various villages and far places take admission to our college to attend. The library is very big and useful for students. The hostel is under construction.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are kind, helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is very good. Semester exams are very good. The pass percentage is above 70%.

Faculty members are good, but the main problem is the education system.

Placements: Our college does not provide placements. Roles are not offered in our course. The salary package is not offered. Our college is all about getting a degree certificate, so I will not recommend it to anyone. I think most of the colleges in Kashmir are like that, so it is not worth being there.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities in our college are good. There is an active Wi-Fi connection. It has a huge library with a large number of books. Medical facilities are not that good. Sports tools are also good, but you will never be able to play with them.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-knowledgeable, but the problem is with our education system, not in this college, but in all other colleges of Kashmir. Students do not aim for placements. They just come to attain a degree and keep their education going.

GDC Sumbal - Peaceful campus with scope for growth.

Placements: Placements are limited at GDC Sumbal, as its a relatively new and growing government college. There are no major placement drives conducted by the college. Most students aim for higher studies or competitive exams. Internships and job offers are not directly provided. But the faculty encourages students to explore opportunities outside the campus. With time, this area may improve.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of GDC Sumbal is decent and improving every year. Classrooms are spacious. Basic facilities like a library, computer lab, and science labs are available. Wi-Fi access is limited. There is no hostel facility yet, and students commute from nearby areas. The natural surroundings and peaceful environment are a plus.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and dedicated. The curriculum is based on Kashmir University syllabus, which is well-structured for academic learning. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable if you attend classes regularly. Teachers support students with extra classes and guidance before exams.

Other: I chose this college because its close to home, affordable, and has a growing academic reputation. Teachers are dedicated and always ready to help students. I wish the college would organize more seminars, workshops, and career guidance sessions. Overall, a good environment for learning and self-growth.
