It is the best government engineering college in Bihar at a nominal cost.
Placements: Government Engineering College, Arwal's B.Teach in Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science) offers a 4 years course at the UG level. To be eligible for this course, students must have 45.0% in 12th. This course admits 60 students. In our college, most students are placed in Electrical Engineering, followed by Mechanical Engineering. A very small number of students are placed in Civil Engineering. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top companies include DRDO, BHEL, automotive companies, BYJU'S, and Grow, among others. Almost 100% of students secured internships from our course in CAD Zone for AutoCAD, Patna Metro, NH, Bridge, etc.
Infrastructure: Our campus is fully covered with Wi-Fi. Every room in our hostel has its router. The library is also very good, well structured and well organised. There are more than 5,000 books and our library is accessible till 10 PM. Lab equipment is sufficient. There is a private mess in our hostel. Food served in the mess is hygienic. They provide excellent quality of food. Classrooms have ventilators and windows. There is a medical department for crucial situations.
Faculty: I am satisfied with our college because of the excellent faculty members and proper schedule of classes. Our college has permanent faculty members. Teachers are good, experienced, and supportive. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready, but some add-on courses are required for self-development. The passing mark is 35.
Other: I opted for this college because it is the best college in Arwal District Bihar. Our college provides a good learning environment. They organise educational and cultural events to motivate students.

Very good college for B.Tech.
Placements: My passing out batch in this college is August 2024. A Mahindra company came for placement at the package of 35,000 per month. But I was satisfied with that, so I could not go for that package. Last year, this college had the highest package of 7.5 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: This college has good infrastructure, and buildings are well designed. This college is verified by Bihar Engineering College, Patna. The college provides canteen facilities, but food quality is not good. Food is too oily. Hostels are available for students at a charge of 1200 per month.
Faculty: I appear for a total of 8 semester exams. My final semester result for this college is 8.43 CGPA. There are many extra activities provided by college, like assignments. All teachers provided by this college are very good. If you attend regular lectures in class, there will be no problem passing the semester.

Placements: In our college, most students are placed in Electrical Engineering, followed by Mechanical Engineering. A very small number of students are placed in Civil Engineering. The highest package is 12 LPA, with an average of 5 LPA. Top companies include DRDO, BHEL, automotive companies, BYJU'S, and Grow, among others. 100% of students secured internships from our course in CAD Zone for AutoCAD, Patna Metro, NH, Bridge, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi campus, all labs are in good condition with modern equipment. The library, classrooms, washing machines, chillers, Wi-Fi, gym, and mess are available. We decide what we eat today. Sports like cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, and indoor games are also available.
Faculty: The faculties are knowledgeable, with most of them holding M.Tech degrees, and some having Ph.D.s. Guest faculty are also available in our college. However, to be honest, some faculty are not very effective in teaching us. Passing a semester exam in my course is quite challenging due to the lengthy syllabus. Here, CGPA is important, and you have to pass both the internal and external papers.
Other: Civil engineering is not my preferred choice, to be honest. My preference is for Computer Science Engineering (CSE). All events, including fests, occur regularly. PM's scholarships are available only for OBC, ST, and SC students. Additionally, there is a scholarship named "Pragati," which is available for girls only.

I am satisfied with our college because of excellent faculty and proper schedule of classes.
Placements: Our college provides 100% placements. This year, around 90% of our seniors got placed in our course in big companies like HCL, Ultratech, Technext, etc. Many of them also qualified for the GATE exam. Overall, our college is perfect. Faculty members are very good. The quality of studies is also good.
Infrastructure: Our campus is fully covered with Wi-Fi. Every room in our hostel has its own router. The library is also very good. There are more than 5000 books till now and our library is accessible to us till 10 PM. There is a private mess in our hostel. They provide excellent quality of food.
Faculty: Since our college is affiliated with Bihar Engineering University, which is a very new university, our college exams are conducted on time. Professors and lab assistants are well qualified. Some are from IITs and NITs also. The difficulty level in semester exam is medium. If you are prepared very well then it's very easy.
