Review of Government Medical College, Anantapur.
Placements: I am an MBBS student presently in my 2nd year. This is a 5-year course. As this is a government medical college, we have our internship in our own hospital. Every student must go through the internship in my college for which a stipend of around Rs. 30,000 per month is given. After the internship, we get a degree in the course. After which we have to apply for jobs or prepare for the PG exam. I didn't play any major roles in my college, though I play volleyball in the evening and went for the inter-college volleyball championship.
Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms with smart classes, and a library. Good food is provided. There is a small canteen in the hospital and every type of medical facility is available. There is a volleyball court, cricket pitches, and table tennis boards. Additionally, there is a TV in the TV room.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The curriculum in this course is relevant and prepares students for public service. The exams are not too difficult but moderate, and the pass percentage is above 50%.
Other: I opted for this course because I want to become a doctor, it is my dream. I followed my dream. It gives selfless service to the nation.
There are events like Freshers' Day. The college celebrates college day and other festival celebrations.

It is a small college with a clumsy area. It has knowledgeable faculty members and good facilities.
Placements: The batch contains 150 members of medicos. The package offered in internships is Rs. 26,500 per month and then they can apply for PG, or they can apply in any hospital or do self-practice. Roles like government doctors and private doctors are offered. We can research and do our own practices also.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. All departments have their respective labs and abundant faculty members. The hostel, mess, and food are okay. Sports facilities are also somewhat okay. There is a small ground for sports like cricket nets, table tennis, carrom and gym also.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified, friendly, helpful, and supportive. They are highly knowledgeable and their teaching quality is above average. The course curriculum is CBME and it is very useful for nowadays doctors. The curriculum not only gives us knowledge but also makes us learn communication skills with patients.
Other: I am interested in MBBS so choose I this course. This course shows interactions between many patients and their families. We can adopt some families in a family adoption program and the experience we get in clinical postings is nothing else.

Government Medical College ATP review .
Placements: About 70% of students get jobs. The highest one can expect from a job is 24 - 40 LPA, which can vary depending on whether they work for the government or in a private hospital. No recruitment occurs; only the hospital takes us by ranks. About 95% of students get internships. The roles vary depending on PG courses.
Infrastructure: We have good quality classrooms, departments, and equipment available in labs, good Wi-Fi, etc. Hostel facilities are also very good and healthy. There is a ground to play sports games, and a quality mess is maintained by students. Overall, the infrastructure is well-maintained by the college management.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful; all of them are qualified doctors with full knowledge. Their overall teaching is top-notch. It is a very relevant curriculum. We learn to treat patients thoroughly. It makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are tough, with a pass percentage of 70%.
Other: I chose this course because of the demand outside. The best thing is treating the patients. I wish the exams would be a bit easier. Yearly, two main events occur: Freshers and Farewell events. Optionally, College Day also occurs. The campus is situated in the center of town.

It is a better college to have a medical degree.
Placements: A maximum percentage of students are placed in the hospitals as junior medical physicians. The salary package offered is based on the skills acquired by students. Hence the minimum paying scale for fresher in government hospital ranges from Rs. 50,000-Rs. 60,000 per month. Every student will get an internship after the completion of the course.
Infrastructure: The environment of the campus is very pleasant and suits every person from different regions. Every course has separate and individual classrooms and labs are well-equipped. Live classes are provided to acquire practical knowledge. But hostel should be constructed for students to make them feel better.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly enough to discuss any practical topics at any college hours. Every lecturer has the highest qualification of MD, and the quality of teaching is far better and easy to understand. The knowledge provided on the campus is enough to get a job. The examination question paper will cover all topics from depth.
