NEET PG 2026 Dates
No. There is no option of any other language other than English. According to the existing NEET PG pattern, the exam is conducted in English language only. While NEET exam is conducted in 13 languages, NEET PG is conducted in only one language. NBE releases exam pattern along with the official information brochure. According to existing exam pattern, the exam is conducted in computer-based mode. Total 200 multiple choice questions are asked of 800 marks. Total allotted time for the question paper is 3.5 hours.
Candidates can appear for as many times as they want. There is no cap on the number of attempts in NEET PG exam. As per the experts, candidates may appear twice for the exam to improve the score or to do away mistakes in the first attempt. NEET PG exam is held in computer-based mode. Candidates who qualify the exam with the minimum cut off can participate in the counselling process. They have to register and declare choice for college to participate in the seat allocation process.
From last two years, NBE has been postponing the original NEET PG date. In 2025, exam was scheduled for June 15, but postponed to August 3, 2025. Similarly, in 2024, the exam was postponed from June 23 to August 11, 2024. Check the table given below for tentative NEET PG 2026 dates:

NEET PG 2026 Syllabus
NBE doesn’t release word by word NEET PG syllabus. Candidates can refer the syllabus referred by Medical Council of India. NEET PG syllabus 2026 mainly comprises subjects covered in MBBS course, I.e pre clinical, para clinical and clinical subjects. NEET PG 2025 counselling is delayed possibly due to two reasons. One reason is Nationaal Medical Commission has to add some colleges and seats for 2025-26 session and second is the pending court case. NEET PG 2025 answer key transparency plea is scheduled for hearing in Supreme Court on October 28.
