It is a good college with good placements, but the hostel is not so good.

Placements: College placements are a little bit good as many students got placed in the previous year and this year as well. ECE students have good placements than EE and CSE. But if we talk about all branches, it is an average in placement as 45-60% of the students get placed. The good thing is seats are empty. The highest salary package offered is about 2.6 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 1.2 LPA. Top companies like Mando, Tata Steel, Tata Hitachi, ACC Cement, etc., visit the campus. ALmost 25-30% of the students got internships. The top role offered by a company was as a worker only.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are good and clean. Wi-Fi is available on the campus but the campus ground is not good. There are very few places but we have many trees. Library is very good and all the books are available easily. Hostels are also good and the girls hostel is much better but the boys hostel is not so good. You can see a very beautiful view from the girls hostel room.

Faculty: Teachers are good but not so helpful. Semester exams are fine. It's extremely heartening to note that Government Polytechnic College Kharsawan follows an outcome-based curriculum. It has hard outcomes. SOM follows a 4-layered CASE approach with core courses, Attitudinal building, service orientation. and experiential learning to have pronounced outcomes that can complement companies' requirements. Several experiential learning initiatives are driven through PEACE (Personal Effectiveness Alignmentfor Career Enhancement) and CLASS (Career and Leadership Alignment for Students' Success), for instance, has been designed to equip the students with the requisite skills. Curriculums are designed for hard outcomes.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in electronics. Scholarships are provided by the Government of Jharkhand.

One of the best polytechnic colleges in Jharkhand.

Placements: The highest placement package offered was Rs.300000. Companies like PGCL, Electrosteel, Godrej, ACC cement, etc. offer placements in this college. Students did get internships from this course in good companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is the best and so many facilities are provided in my college like Wi-Fi with high-speed internet connectivity, a smart library, and a good mess that provides better quality of food. Sports facilities are also provided in my college like Cricket, Badminton, etc.

Faculty: The teachers in my college provide great quality of learning. Their teaching quality is very well and they provide a good amount of learning materials. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty and above 90 percent of the students pass in my College.

Other: The students of my batch are very helpful because a lot of my friends motivated me to learn and grow. Saraswati Puja, Independence Day, and Republic Day are celebrated in my college.
