Facilities at Government Polytechnic, Jagannathpur.
Placements: There are many students placed in the college which is almost 55 percent. The companies which hire our students are Mateshwari, Tata steel, Apollo tyres, and Forecia. 60% students got internship from the electrical engineering course.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is average for students and mess is good, but the main reason is that the hostel is situated in an odd place where students get bored. My course is best for Diploma which is electrical engineering and many students are placed from it.
Faculty: All the teachers are good. They are helpful to us and knowledgeable. The semester exams are difficult but our teachers make our subjects easier and they are very positively responding people. Our courses are very relevant to make us ready for the jobs and industry.
Other: I chose electrical engineering because from childhood, I wanted to know why electrical is so important to us.

I am not satisfied with this college because of its placements.
Placements: Our college provides average placements. A few companies visit our college to recruit students. Top recruiting companies are Usha Martin, Tata Motor, HCL, etc. Many students got placed in crore branches such as electrical and mechanical. The salary package offered ranges between 1.5 LPA - 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel is not good compared to other polytechnic college hostels. It is a new college. Our college was established in 2018. The mess fee is Rs. 2,200 for vegetarians and Rs. 2,400 for non-vegetarians. The hostel fee is Rs. 800 per year.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good compared to other polytechnic colleges. They teach us very well. They have completed B.Tech. The teaching quality is good. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: It is a good college for Jharkhand students. Our college is located in a rural area.

Good college and good environment.
Placements: 75% students are placed in my course. The highest salary package of my college is 2 LPA. The average salary package is 1.8 LPA. The lowest salary package of my college is 1.4 LPA. Top recruiters are Yaziaki and Maruti Suzuki.
Infrastructure: Good facilities are available in my college. Wi-Fi is available for 24 hours in our college. Labs are clean, and good instruments are available for experiments. In our hostel, there are 1200 beds and 40 rooms. A table and a chair are available for studies per bed. The quality of food served is very good. There is a huge ground to play cricket and football with friends.
Faculty: The teachers in my college have good teaching experience. The teachers are helpful and highly qualified (B.Tech, M.Tech, GATE qualified and Ph.D.). The teachers are very knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also too good. This courses curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry ready. Semester exams are not too much difficult.
Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in electrical engineering. It helps me to improve myself. Many of the events are organised in our college like tech-Kriti, modal making, working modal, wall painting, etc. The campus surroundings and covered with beautiful weather, hill, and plant.

Our college is an excellent college.
Placements: In our college, more than 75% of students are placed. Our top recruiting companies are Yajaki India, Tata, Motherson, Infosys, Mateshwari Transport, Ralson, Larsen and Toubro, etc., that visited our campus.
Infrastructure: It is a good college with labs, workshops, etc. Our hostel is excellent with a guard and warden. The quality of food is good and there are also medical, sports, and gaming facilities available on campus.
Faculty: The pass percentage is more than 90%. Our college is a diploma college.
Other: The course curriculum needs to be improved. There are many courses available at our college such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, electrical engineering, and CSIT engineering. Our college is situated in Jaldiha. It is a government college. There is no extra tuition charge.

Our college is good for placements.
Placements: More than 80% of students get placed on-campus. The highest salary offered is Rs.15,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs.10,000 per month. Some of the top global recruiters are for courses like electrical, civil, mechanical, CSIT, and electronic.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available 24 hours on campus. Labs are clean with good instruments for experiments. The hostel has 1,000 beds and 50 rooms. Each room has a table and chair per bed. The food quality is very good. We have a huge ground to play cricket, football, and volleyball.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and very knowledgeable. They are highly qualified with M.Tech and B.Tech. They have cracked the GATE exam and are Ph.D. holders. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not so difficult.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in electrical and electronics engineering. It helped me to improve myself.
