Facilities at Government Polytechnic, Jagannathpur.

Placements: There are many students placed in the college which is almost 55 percent. The companies which hire our students are Mateshwari, Tata steel, Apollo tyres, and Forecia. 60% students got internship from the electrical engineering course.

Infrastructure: Hostel facility is average for students and mess is good, but the main reason is that the hostel is situated in an odd place where students get bored. My course is best for Diploma which is electrical engineering and many students are placed from it.

Faculty: All the teachers are good. They are helpful to us and knowledgeable. The semester exams are difficult but our teachers make our subjects easier and they are very positively responding people. Our courses are very relevant to make us ready for the jobs and industry.

Other: I chose electrical engineering because from childhood, I wanted to know why electrical is so important to us.

I am not satisfied with this college because of its placements.

Placements: Our college provides average placements. A few companies visit our college to recruit students. Top recruiting companies are Usha Martin, Tata Motor, HCL, etc. Many students got placed in crore branches such as electrical and mechanical. The salary package offered ranges between 1.5 LPA - 2.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostel is not good compared to other polytechnic college hostels. It is a new college. Our college was established in 2018. The mess fee is Rs. 2,200 for vegetarians and Rs. 2,400 for non-vegetarians. The hostel fee is Rs. 800 per year.

Faculty: Our faculty members are good compared to other polytechnic colleges. They teach us very well. They have completed B.Tech. The teaching quality is good. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 33%.

Other: It is a good college for Jharkhand students. Our college is located in a rural area.

Good college and good environment.

Placements: 75% students are placed in my course. The highest salary package of my college is 2 LPA. The average salary package is 1.8 LPA. The lowest salary package of my college is 1.4 LPA. Top recruiters are Yaziaki and Maruti Suzuki.

Infrastructure: Good facilities are available in my college. Wi-Fi is available for 24 hours in our college. Labs are clean, and good instruments are available for experiments. In our hostel, there are 1200 beds and 40 rooms. A table and a chair are available for studies per bed. The quality of food served is very good. There is a huge ground to play cricket and football with friends.

Faculty: The teachers in my college have good teaching experience. The teachers are helpful and highly qualified (B.Tech, M.Tech, GATE qualified and Ph.D.). The teachers are very knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also too good. This courses curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry ready. Semester exams are not too much difficult.

Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in electrical engineering. It helps me to improve myself. Many of the events are organised in our college like tech-Kriti, modal making, working modal, wall painting, etc. The campus surroundings and covered with beautiful weather, hill, and plant.

Good educational facilities .

Placements: 65% of students were placed in our course as I know. The percentage may be different in every batch. About 1.2 Lacs is the highest package and 20 thousand is the average package offered in our course in our college. Our college is new, that's why no big companies are coming for recruiting students, small companies like voltas and yazaki are coming for recruitment.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is totally good as compare to other government college. Our college have big and well-equipped labs, classrooms, libraries etc. Our college mess is fully under students, students manage everything related to mess. Food is healthy and hygienic. Sports facilities are also quite good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are well trained and having good knowledge of their respective subjects. This course curriculum is relevant. It make the students industry ready. Our college semester exam is quite difficult. 35% is the passing percentage.

Our college is excellent.

Placements: Almost 75% of students are placed at our college. The highest salary package offered was approximately 2 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 5 LPA. The top recruiting company is Yazaki which is visited on campus. Our college has not organised any internships for our course. Yazaki is the top role offered in our college.

Infrastructure: Good facilities and infrastructure are available in our college. Wi-Fi is available 24X7 in our college. Labs are clean and good instruments are available for experiments. In our hostel, there are 900 beds and 40 rooms. A table and a chair are available for study per bed. The quality of food served is the best. There is a large playground to play cricket and football with friends.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and highly qualified. Their teachers are very knowledgeable and the teaching quality is very good. This course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not too difficult. A passing percentage of more than 70% is required.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in electrical engineering. It helps me improve myself. Many of the events are organised in our college like Tech-Kriti, modal making, working modal, wall painting, etc. Surroundings of the campus are covered with beautiful weather, hills, and plants.
