Review of Government Polytechnic, Rampur, Shahabad.

Placements: Around 80% of students get placed through the college. The highest package is 4 LPA. The lowest is 2.5 LPA. TCS is the top recruiter. The top roles offered in my college include Junior Engineer and other entry-level roles. Most Electrical and Mechanical Engineering students get placed.

Infrastructure: Facilities are very basic, with the bare minimum infrastructure. Most things in the college do not work. There are labs equipped with good materials and most of the required technical instruments. The quality of the hostel is average, with average food and an old building. Sports Day is celebrated, and we have grounds for every sport.

Faculty: Most teachers are very well qualified through government exams. The teaching quality is very good, with practical knowledge. The course provides most of the practical knowledge required. The exams are very difficult to pass, and most students get backlogs. The pass percentage is around 70%.

Other: I chose this course due to the government opportunities in engineering and technical fields. The exams and infrastructure should be improved. We have a high number of events with guests like DM, SDM, etc.
