Review of Government Hydro Engineering College, Bilaspur.

Placements: Placements are not such as good because companies do not come to college. Only 1 or 2 students are being placed in electrical engineering branch. The package offered by the company is about 2.4 LPA to students. But now companies are coming to give internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: The only government college has a residential campus. There are various facilities like Wi-Fi in classrooms and hostel rooms. Library and e-library facilities are also available. Classroom are clean. All classrooms are now converted to smart classrooms for the benefit of students. College has one canteen, food quality is also good. Mess food quality is also good having both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

Faculty: Our branch teachers are very supportive. They help in class work also they help us in extracurricular activities for the overall development of students. They help in making students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy and anyone can easily clear them.

Other: I chose this course because there is a large scope in this course in Himachal Pradesh. There should be some addition of subjects based on the latest technology rather than the irrelevant subjects.
