You can go for it if you want a government degree.

Placements: The percentage of students being placed is very low as this college and this course have just started since 2020. The placements are not very common but they happen. The highest package is around 4 LPA and the number of students for internships is also very low as the students need to search for off-campus internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is still getting built up and there is no such hostel for girls and boys for this course as this college is affiliated but the building is under construction and it's way better as it's newly built and maintained and it's about a 3 -4 story building.

Faculty: The faculty is average as it's an affiliated college and the teachers have good knowledge and they always share with us and also they help build up our skills so that we are suitable for industries. The exams are moderate to difficult and not sure about the pass percentage as it depends upon every single person how much does he puts his efforts.

Other: It's average if you want to save your money in a private college and get a government degree.

Placements: Approximately 60% of the students are placed in my course every year in my college. The highest average package offered in my course is around 1.5 Lacs per annum, the lowest is around 50k per annum whereas the average is around 70-80k per annum. Top recruiting companies of my school are mostly regional ones. The percentage of students who got an internship from my course is nearly 60%. Top roles offered are IAS and advocate.

Infrastructure: All facilities and infrastructure are available at my department, like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, etc. The quality of the facilities in my hostel is good. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen, Medical facilities, sports, and games are good.

Faculty: The teachers in my course are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very enjoyable. This course is curriculum-relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are easy in college. The pass percentage is 85%.

It is the best college that I have found in Dharamshala.

Placements: 80% of students will get their placements after this course. It is a government-based college, so girls' fee is 50% off and boys pay the full fee, which is worth Rs. 15,000. The final examination fee is separate. Engineer-based companies, etc., visit the college to hire students. 80% of students will get placements in non Indian companies. Roles offered in B.Sc. are teaching line, NDA, engineering, etc.

Infrastructure: All facilities like Wi-Fi, learning, playgrounds, etc., are available. Classrooms and washrooms are neat and clean. The library is also very good and nice. I did not experience hostel facilities. My friend who stays in the hostel gave five-star ratings to all hostel facilities, like rooms are very clean and the food is healthy. The college canteen provides us with hygienic food. Medical facilities are available in our college. In emergency cases, processors help us to get rid of them. Sports and games activities are held in our college monthly.

Faculty: All teachers are helpful. They all are PhD holders. Their way of teaching is also impressive. I love their way of teaching. The course curriculum is good. After this course, we get many offers from industries and companies. Semester exams are neither very easy nor very difficult, but average, so that students who have studied can pass easily.

Other: I chose this course because my dream is to become a professor. The best thing about our course is that by doing this course, we can't leave studying and we will be happy. The improvement should be taken regarding the practical examinations because if we pass in theory and fail in practicals, then we are considered to have failed, and our theory and practical exams will both be taken again.

Can I get admission for B.Sc. Science in Government college Dharamshala? What is the admission criteria?

Yes you can get admission on government college for that you have to just work hard for it and get the cutoff clear so that you can get admission and best of luck for your upcoming exams. Minimum aggregate score of 50% should be obtained in B.Sc. And 45% for SC or ST.
