Yes, the MBBS course offered by Jamia Hamdard University is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI). Jamia Hamdard admission to MBBS is through NEET-UG Counselling by MCC. The NEET counselling is segregated into two categories, central or national, and state counselling. The NEET counselling process conducted by MCC is for admission to the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Once the counselling is over, MCC allots seats under different categories.

Additionally, some students are hired by the government.Placements for MD students are good in Hamdard Intitute of Medical Sciences. The Stipend of Rs.80,000 per month is given for 3 year durantion for a PG student. And students can practice at renowned hospitals. Some students also go for civil service and practice at government hospitals.
