Seat Matrix NEET PG 2025

NEET PG 2025 Seat Matrix for the stray round has been released. Total 2,980 seats are there for stray vacancy round. MCC has uploaded seat matrix for stray round in PDF format. Seat matrix comprises number of seats available for particular round. Seat matrix is released before choice filling so that students can declare choices of seats online. Counselling is held for seat allotment. 

MCC conducts counselling for 50% All India Quota seats and respective state authorities conduct counselling for rest 50% PG medical seats. Candidates who qualify NEET PG with the minimum cut-off can participate in the counselling process. MCC conducts 4 rounds of NEET PG 2025 counselling for seat allotment. 

NEET PG counselling is held for allocation of following quota seats

  • 50% All India Quota seats

  • 50% State Quota seats

  • Armed Forces Medical Services

  • Deemed Universities

  • Central Universities (DU, AMU, BHU)

  • ESIC colleges

NEET PG 2025 Seat Matrix has bene uploaded at mcc.nic.in for stray vacancy round. Seat matrix NEET PG is the total seats for which the counselling is held. Counseling comprises steps such as registration, choice filling, fee payment, seat allotment result, and reporting.

Q:   Will NBE provide final correction window for NEET PG?
A: 

Yes. NBE will open final correction window for NEET PG. Candidates can rectify incorrect images uploaded along with NEET PG application form. It must be noted the correction window is opened to rectify incorrect images in the application form. Candidates have to login and rectify images such as photograph, signature, and thumb impression. It is the final opportunity to make changes in NEET PG application form. 

Q:   Can I carry calculator at NEET PG test centre?
A: 

No. Candidates can't carry any electronic item such as mobile phone, calculator, bluetooth, earphone to NEET PG centre. Some of the items which are not allowed at NEET PG centre have been enlisted below:

  • Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), notes, writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, etc.
  • All ornaments like bracelets, Ring, Earrings, Nose-pin
  • Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap etc.
  • Any eatable items and water bottle are also banned.

 

Q:   Has NBE revised date for NEET PG 2025?
A: 

No. NEET PG 2025 exam was held on August 3, 2025 in single shift. On May 30, 2025, Supreme Court directed NBe to make arrangements to conduct exam in single shift. Candidates have to register online to submit application form for NEET PG 2024. As per the existing NEET PG pattern, the question paper comprises 200 multiple choice questions and candidates get 3.5 hours to answer them.

Q:   What are the chances of NBE extending NEET PG date?
A: 

NBE extended NEET PG 2025 date after Supreme Court directed former to conduct exam in single shift.  The exam was postponed from June 15 to August 3, 2025. The exam will be held in computer-based mode in single shift. NBE had proposed August 3 as NEET PG 2025 revised date after Supreme Court ordered it to make arrangements to conduct exam in single shift. Later Sc allowed NBE to go ahead with August 3 as NEET PG 2025 revised exam date.

Q:   Does NBE allot NEET PG test city on first come first basis?
A: 

Yes. Candidates have to provide prefrences of test cities while filling application form for NEET PG. It is to be noted the city is chosen by candidate himself / herself at the time of online submission of application form, while the allotment of test centre/venue in the chosen city is done by exam authority. NBE will allot the name and address of exact test centre along with the NEET PG admit card.

Q:   Where will I find detail about the reporting time for NEET PG?
A: 

NBE provides reporting time with admit card. NEET PG 2025 reporting time is 7 am. Candidates are advised to check test centre a day before the exam to know travelling time etc. Candidates must note NBE doesn't provide travelling expense and candidates will have to make their own arrangements regarding the same. The exam is scheduled to be held on August 3 in online mode.

No, NBE will not send the NEET PG 2026 admit card via post. The admit card will be uploaded online on the official website of NBE, and candidates will have to download it through their registration login credentials.

There will be a time limit of 42 minutes for each section. The candidates will be required to marks the answer to all the questions of one section and the next section will only appear after the time limit of one section gets over.
NBE introduced time bound sections in NEET PG in the year 2024.
