Seat Matrix NEET PG 2025

NEET PG 2025 Seat Matrix for the Round-3 has been revised. Some new seats have been added to the four institutes. The PDF of the round-3 can be downloaded from the table provided below. The NEET PG seat matrix comprises number of seats to be allocated through various counselling rounds. Candidates have to appear for the NEET PG counselling process to become eligible for seat allotment in different MD/MS/DM/MDS courses. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) releases the NEET PG seat matrix after the result announcement, before seat allotment via counselling. MCC conducts counselling for 50% All India Quota seats and respective state authorities conduct counselling for rest 50% PG medical seats. Candidates who qualify NEET PG with the minimum cut-off can participate in the counselling process. MCC conducts 4 rounds of counselling for seat allotment. Total 32, 080 seats will be allotted through round-2 NEET PG 2025 counselling.

Q:   What is NEET PG 2026 exam date?
A:

NEET PG 2026 exam is expected to be held in August 2026. Candidates have to apply online to submit application form for NEET PG exam. Registration is mandatory to submit application for NEET PG. NBE will release dates and other crucial details such as application process, elligibility criteria, exam pattern etc along with the official brochure. Exam will be held computer-based.

Q:   Will NEET PG 2025 exam held in pen and paper mode?
A:

No. NEET PG 2025 exam was held in online mode on August 3, 2025. NEET PG question paper 2025 had 200 multiple choice questions and candidates were provided 3.5 hours to answer them. Candidates have to score the minimum cut off to qualify for the exam. Qualifying cut off differ for each category. NBE will declare NEET PG 2025 result online.

Q:   Will NBE provide final correction window for NEET PG?
A:

Yes. NBE will open final correction window for NEET PG. Candidates can rectify incorrect images uploaded along with NEET PG application form. It must be noted the correction window is opened to rectify incorrect images in the application form. Candidates have to login and rectify images such as photograph, signature, and thumb impression. It is the final opportunity to make changes in NEET PG application form.

Seat Matrix NEET PG 2025: Latest Updates

NEET PG 2025 Seat Matrix final number has been released by MCC for round-2. Total 32, 080 seats were allotted in round-2. Seat matrix NEET PG is the total seats for which the counselling is held. Result for round-1 NEET PG 2025 counselling announced on November 22, 2025.  Total 26, 889 seats were allotted in round-1 counselling. Counseling comprises steps such as registration, choice filling, fee payment, seat allotment result, and reporting.

Q:   Can I carry calculator at NEET PG test centre?
A:

No. Candidates can't carry any electronic item such as mobile phone, calculator, bluetooth, earphone to NEET PG centre. Some of the items which are not allowed at NEET PG centre have been enlisted below:

  • Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), notes, writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, etc.
  • All ornaments like bracelets, Ring, Earrings, Nose-pin
  • Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap etc.
  • Any eatable items and water bottle are also banned.

 

Q:   Has NBE revised date for NEET PG 2025?
A:

No. NEET PG 2025 exam was held on August 3, 2025 in single shift. On May 30, 2025, Supreme Court directed NBe to make arrangements to conduct exam in single shift. Candidates have to register online to submit application form for NEET PG 2024. As per the existing NEET PG pattern, the question paper comprises 200 multiple choice questions and candidates get 3.5 hours to answer them.

Q:   What are the chances of NBE extending NEET PG date?
A:

NBE extended NEET PG 2025 date after Supreme Court directed former to conduct exam in single shift.  The exam was postponed from June 15 to August 3, 2025. The exam will be held in computer-based mode in single shift. NBE had proposed August 3 as NEET PG 2025 revised date after Supreme Court ordered it to make arrangements to conduct exam in single shift. Later Sc allowed NBE to go ahead with August 3 as NEET PG 2025 revised exam date.
