The college has good atmosphere and really good faculty.
Placements: A great number of students get placed in advertising agencies or PR agencies. I don't know anything about the internship and placement in detail till now cause my course is still running, but I know this is a good institute where you can learn and gain knowledge about the industry.
Infrastructure: It is located on the first floor of Mithibai College. Which is having 2 room for classes, one is for PG and UG in journalism, a PG and UG in photography and one for PG in IMAC. There is a conference room, reception, dean room and media room on the third floor. The canteen is very big and located on the ground floor where usually you find some students roaming around.
Faculty: There are some faculty members in the college. They usually came from the industry, so all the work and study is based in practical rather than theoretical, but we have Prapti mam in the reception who can solve any problem regarding the course information and fee structure we also have Kamakshi mam who segregate our lectures accordingly and our dean Mr Soumayadipta Banerjee.
Other: There are a number of events held in our college like Lhistij, Ahaan, Colosseum etc., where the students can participate to showcase their talents and win prizes.

A good platform to start your media career.
Placements: The director posts opportunities on the Facebook group. There is a mixed batch of companies posted, and it is for everyone whether you want to make your career in digital marketing or public relations or advertising or filmmaking or even journalism. The salary offered by the companies are between Rs. 20000 to Rs.30000 which is good for a fresher. The professors are from the industry, so it's better if you maintain a relationship with them as they could end up giving you a job.
Infrastructure: As the institute is inside Mithibai, there are no complaints about the infrastructure. The best part is that you have everything under one roof, from a recording room to an editing room. It's a good place. The canteen is a good place to hang out, and there's a separate cabin for doing projects and extracurricular activities. There are many SVKM events that you can participate in.
Faculty: All the faculty in the institute are highly experienced and highly educated and ever are in a high position. Some of them are even entrepreneurs and owners of their own firms. All the teachers are very helpful and sweet but also strict at the same time.

Other: I had heard about this course from a friend. I was interested in advertising. The best part about this college was the timing, evening two hours. The faculty being directly from the industry made a huge difference. The course was more focused on practical activities.

Harkisan Mehta Institute of Media, Research and Analysis has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
| Courses | Eligibility |
|---|---|
| PG Diploma | Candidate who has completed graduation from regular or distance mode is eligible to apply for the course. Candidates who are awaiting their last semester marks in their graduation are also eligible to apply provided they provide the passing certificate at the time of final admission. |
| UG Diploma | Students who have successfully passed their HSC or equivalent to HSC from a recognised college, are eligible to apply.Students who have missed their academic year or have taken a drop are also eligible to apply at the institute. |
| Certificate | Age will be calculated as per 31st December of academic year. |
