Review of Hojai College, Nagaon.
Placements: Around 30% of students got placed in various government and private jobs. The average salary offered was Rs 15,000 per month. Around 10% of students opted for higher studies in different institutions. Top roles offered were teachers, bank sales officers, chemical cleaning supervisors, etc. Maximum students cleared the teacher eligibility test held by Assam Government.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. Hostel facilities were not available. The canteen was very good. There were no medical facilities. Gym center was available, and various sports equipment was provided.
Faculty: Our teachers were excellent. Few of them were Ph.D. scholars. Teachers were knowledgeable. Our course curriculum was relevant, and it was under Guwahati University. Semester exams were not difficult, and the pass percentage was 90%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it.

Hojai College is one of the best colleges in Assam with the best faculty.
Placements: High-quality education is provided by this institution. 80% of students got placed in our college. The packages are very good. The top requiting companies for my course are educational institutions. Almost 70% of students got internships from my course in private and government companies and educational institutions.
Infrastructure: Hojai College has the best infrastructure. It has newly built buildings, classes, laboratories, sports, and a tennis court. The college has excellent hostel facilities, rooms, campus Wi-Fi facility and hostel Wi-Fi facility. It is a lot better than other private institutes.
Faculty: I love the college. The teachers and staff are friendly. The teachers in the college are a lot better than the teachers in the nearby state technical institutions. The studies are not much difficult and are also affordable. The college has dedicated faculty members and strict course.
Other: There are many possibilities for campus placements. Hojai college has a separate training and placement cell which chooses the bright students and helps them get placed. The college also provides free coaching for SSB and other exams.

Value for money and not the best, but sure above average.
Placements: My batch has approximately 40 students. Our main focus is on theory, but practical learning, although present, is not the very best. We have no idea about any packages as we are still in our 1st year. Similarly, I have no idea about recruiting companies or roles offered, as I am still in my 1st year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty well developed, be it Wi-Fi, classrooms, or the library. The lacking aspects are labs, availability of space, and the quality of study materials in the library. The food quality, sports, and games are fine, but medical facilities are not readily available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable as well, but they lack in delivering quality education. The course curriculum is relevant and effective to an extent. The difficulty level is neither too hard nor too easy. More than 80% of students probably pass, and many score very good marks.
Other: I am interested in Physics. The quality of education is average based on others' experiences.

Do not take admission in such a college.
Placements: There were zero placements, and the college was corrupt. During our time, only 13% of students qualified for the semester exams. Students who got jobs on their own, with no help from the college. They only wanted money. So, there is nothing more to say about this college. Overall, I do not recommend taking admission.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good, but some classrooms were very old. The toilets were not clean, and the drinking facilities needed improvement. The canteen was the worst. The canteen owner, Bishnu, was rude and gave us the worst quality samosas and parathas. Wi-Fi was good in some departments.
Faculty: Faculty was good, especially in the Maths and Chemistry departments. The Arts department was also good, but the Commerce department was corrupt. In the Politics department, all the boys were gay during my time, so choose carefully. Semester exams were easy at that time. Three days of study were enough to complete the syllabus.
Other: There was no campus life.
