All campuses are good. But If you are curious about a particular college, then I must tell you that after IBS Hyderabad, IBS Gurgaon and Mumbai are the colleges which are being preferred by most of the students. The reason for the same is that since Mumbai is a financial capital where job opportunities are more as compared to any other city in India, as of now. On the other hand, If you talk about Gurgaon, it is a hub for many reputed companies like Apollo tyres, BMW, Continental, Sapient and many others. Secondly, the companies that visit in IBS Hyderabad do visit in all the other campuses of the ICFAI Business School. The only difference is the packages offered to the students which ultimately depends on the ROI(Return on Investments). It means that the fees of IBS Gurgaon is Rs. 7 lakhs and there is an average package of Rs. 5-6 lakhs whereas the fees of IBS Hyderabad is Rs. 14 lakhs and the average package is Rs. 11-12 Lakhs. There are many reputed companies which do come to IBS Gurgaon. Big 4's, do come to Ibs gurgaon every year. Companies like Oyo rooms,Expedia,CB Richards,Exponential,Copal Amba,Proctivity,Thomas International along with many others do come to IBS gurgaon. There are also international packages which do offers more than Rs 15 lakhs including CTC. Lastly, your query regarding work experience, it adds value to a profile of an individual but if you don't have the same, it will not be an issue since you are fresher.

Congratulations on your success. You have cleared your first phase. Your second phase will be to strive for the best placements that visit in the campus. For that you need to focus more on the practical knowledge rather than theoritical. In addition to that, your skills and your work experience(If you have any) matters a lot at the time of placements. Your CGPA won't help you for that matter. Although, you need to maintain the same at a certain level as it is required for the selection criteria by the companies at the time of placements. That's all I can say about your query regarding IBS Gurgaon. I hope I answered your question. Secondly, the average package of IBS Gurgaon is Rs. 5-7 lakhs including CTC(Cost to Company). There are also international packages which have offered Rs. 15 lakhs including CTC. Apart from this, in order to know the worth of a college, you should look for the ROI(Return on Investment) of the college. The fees of IBS Gurgaon is Rs. 7 lakhs and the package offered to the students are Rs. 5-6 lakhs including CTC. Last but not the least, minimum and maximum package offered to the students depends upon various factors such as skills, knowledge, work ex etc. All the best!

It's not formals everyday but on presentation day-Yes. The formals are required on the day of presentation because it carry certain marks as to how well you are dressed for the same. After all, you are an MBA student and an MBA student is required to dress in such a way as they can be considered as a role model for others. But don't worry, on any other normal day, you can dress as you like but that too must be decent, that's all I can say. Apart from this, If you are visiting any company or an NGO on behalf of your college or in search of an information regarding your project, formals are must as it gives a strong impression that you are not just a student but a professional.

Institutions like IIM, MDI etc. are not AICTE/UGC approved but they do provide a PGPM degree just like IBS Gurgaon. Even if these colleges are not approved by the same, they still hold a very good reputation for someone pursuing a professional course from these colleges. However, there is an exception that If an individual wants to go for a govt. job, they do ask for an MBA degree which means that a particular institution must be UGC approved. Since, there is a difference between AICTE and UGC. MBA is a degree offered by colleges recognised by University Grant Commission(UGC) and PGDM is a diploma offered by the institutes recognised by All India Council by Technical Education(AICTE). UGC is made for maintenance of standards of university education whereas AICTE is for technical and management education in India. As far as I am concerned, it does not make any difference if the institute is not AICTE/UGC approved. I also request you to inquire the same from an expert.

CPA, I believe is a Certified Public Accountant, is a professional course which is different from Chartered Accountant(CA) or Chartered Professional Accountant. As far as I am concerned, any professional course does not need any degree from any college(Being it a graduation or post-graduation). But do take an advice from an expert regarding the same. Apart from this, your post-graduation will not be affected by any professional course. In fact, it will add value to your work-experience. All you need to do is manage your time effectively and efficiently but I would suggest you to pursue one thing at a time.

Hello Lokesh, I completely understand the confusion you are undergoing in selecting your college. While selecting the college Lokesh, you should figure out which college would fetch you more opportunities and growth platforms to showcase your actual abilities and interests. I am a student of GIBS B Schools and have experienced immense growth opportunities and platforms where I could understand how well I am appreciated in corporate world. Students here run through many activities and value added programs arranged by the management that helps them to shape their personality and skill in to a corporate one. Every student is in some or other clubs or committees like Marketing, HR, Finance, Entrepreneurship and many more handling their respective responsibilities. We get twice a week guest lectures where dignities from corporate addresses us and nourishes our minds with actual scenario of the corporate world. Students coming up with innovations and new ideas are appreciated and encouraged. Recently we had a national symposium "ENCHAINER 2K16" and on the same day one of our finest student Miss. Shraddha Patil launched a new club named "Women Empowerment" and another student Mr, Floyd Fernandes opened a "Student's Research Center" where college students will do research in areas of their interest and the selected ones would be published in Magazines or Newspapers. So, student can actively and openly work in areas of their interests to add up to their profile. So, I suggest you to visit the campus once and experience the same and then take your decision regarding your admission. If you have further queries please feel free to ask. Thank You.
