National Institute of Advertising
The National Institute of Advertising offers Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing Communication Management (PGDMCM). Candidates who have completed their graduation or are in their final year can apply for the course. Check the details of the course in the table below.
When it comes to the GMAT entrance exam, different countries and MBA colleges have different preferences. However, the GMAT entrance exam is a popular standardized exam that is accepted for MBA admission by more than 2,400 institutions. Some of the popular countries where GMAT is widely accepted for MBA and MIM admissions include the US, Canada, Australia, India, the UK, Singapore, Germany, Finland, Norway, etc. It is crucial to examine the unique prerequisites of each MBA programme you are considering to find out which admissions examinations are recognised and what score range is competitive. Additionally, candidates may decide to take practice exams or enrol in a GMAT prep course to increase their chances of passing the exam and getting accepted into the MBA programme of their choice.
Direct admission is not available for the two-year PGP program at MICA Ahmedabad. Applicants must qualify in one of the following entrance exams: CAT (2024), XAT (2025), or GMAT (2023 onwards). Additionally, candidates must pass the MICAT, MICA's in-house entrance exam.
Entrance exams, including MICAT and other exam, accounts for 60 per cent of the overall selection process. Applicants must meet the minimum score requirements for both the national-level entrance exam and MICAT to be considered for admission.
Students need to follow this admission path through CMAT to join PUMBA:
- Students require a bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
- The entrance requirements vary by region: CMAT acceptance applies to out-of-state candidates yet MAH CET stands as the admission criteria for candidates based in Maharashtra.
- Students must register with the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) through the DTE Maharashtra website.
- The admission process for PUMBA combines CMAT score assessment with merit-based evaluation where candidates above the 95+ percentile have higher opportunities for acceptance.
- Students must participate in CAP counseling sessions for seat assignments using both merit and preferred choices.
