I don't think that we should ignore the future scopes in rural area as it has much much potential which is still to be penetrated. Still in 2021 there 70% of the rural population which is totally ignored when we talk about development or policies. Our whole India wanders around that 30% Urban and lazy population. All the startups like, swiggy, zomato, big basket, urban clap, ola, oyo each and every startups just focus on the urban population. As a fresher you may be not get good placement/oppurtunity in this sector but when I am talking it in long term perspective it is THE FUTURE!

However, you need to choose the right institute, either IIM or Institute of Rural Management or of TISS kind. Not all are good and all institutes offering the course do not offer good placements.
