Post Graduate Diploma Course Business Administration is a specialised course offered by IIM Udaipur. The course is a 24 month programme delivered in online mode and two one-week campus mode. The eligibility criteria for the specific programme is 12 years of school education and 3 years of university education with a Bachelor degree or equivalent in any discipline. Also a minimum three years of full-time post qualification experience and a valid GMAT score, or valid GRE score, or CAT scores  or score of the admission test to be conducted by IIMU.

The minimum work experience for executive MBA in IIM Udaipur is three years of full-time post-qualification. IIM Udaipur offers Executive programme i.e. Online Post Graduation Diploma in Buisness Administration for Working Executives. PGDBAWE is a twenty four months duration programme delivered in online mode and two one-week campus mode. Candidates wishing to pursue the Executive MBA programme requires CAT/GMAT/GRE scores. IIM Udaipur MBA course admission is entirely based on CAT exam. Candidates needs to apply for the CAT exam if they desired to apply to IIM Udaipur. However, IIM Udaipur does offers courses which doesn't requires CAT exam for admission. IM Udaipur offers a regular Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) for Working Executives, designed for building a solid foundation and deep understanding of Business Management. The duration of the programme is 24 months, i.e. two years.

Qualifying CAT cut off percentiles of an IIM is the minimum percentile (sectional as well as overall) required by candidates to be eligible for the Written Ability Test (What) and Personal Interview PI round. These are only eligibility score and not the score for selection. The final CAT cut off percentiles are the scores on the basis of which a candidate is actually selected for the What-PI round. The qualifying CAT cut offs are released publically before the CAT exam and result as a part of selection criteria for the MBA/PGP batch of that year. The qualifying cut offs for CAT are release category wise - General, NC/OBC. General-EWS, SC/ST, PwD. The qualifying cut offs percentiles of General category candidate is higher than then rest. The final CAT cut offs are not released publically. The cut offs are estimate on the basis of candidate's selection for What-PI. The final CAT cut offs for General category candidate is also higher than then rest.

The selection process for IIM Udaipur starts with qualifying CAT examination, followed by shortlisting of candidates for Personal Interview. Just like all IIM’s, Common Admission Process (CAP) is the process through which PI are done. And finally a Merit List is prepared based on the CAT score, PI score and Profile score. The criteria for preparing the merit list will be as follows: CAT Score*: 60%, Interview (PI): 15% and Profile: 25%. Other than CAT exam, admission to certain courses is aslo done on the basis of IIMU Test and there is some executive courses where option for direct admission is available

IIM Udaipur offers a two-year full-time MBA programme, MBA programmes (one-year), PGDBA for Working Executives, PhD. The eligibility for the courses is to complete graduation with a 50% aggregate. Moreover, candidates can apply to these courses online.
