Review of IMPACT Polytechnic College.

Placements: There were 16 students in our class. In that only 4-5 students were passed and rest were failed on 2-3 subjects. The highest percentage was 82%. Very few companies were offered job opportunities like BPO. B.E in the same college was best in the sense that it offers 30,000 only who has taken distinction in the final year of the diploma.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure were good as compared to the engineering college. But laboratories in diploma computer science department was good. Free books were given in the library. Students can take repeated question papers from previous years so that they can prepare for the exam. Sports were played nowadays.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful throughout the academic year. All the teachers were specialised and qualified. Teachers may teach students everything. But it was in students' hands to learn in-depth in each subject. While students go for engineering they will cover all those subjects in depth. The exams were strict, and students should start learning before a month.

Other: As nowadays students use all gadgets like a computer to mobile phones. So I thought computer science was very promising, and job opportunities will get easier. Scholarships were given to SC or ST categories, as same as other colleges.

Our college has a bad infrastructure but good faculty members. Bus services are not available near.

Placements: As I have completed my diploma in mechanical engineering at IMPACT Polytechnic, this college offered a decent number of jobs to students. I don't get placed in any company because I wanted to pursue a further course as for the beginners the most of the companies offer a salary package of only around Rs. 20,000 to 30,000 per month. Roles offered in our course are somewhat related to mechanical. Most of the boys want to start their own startup by doing this course.

Infrastructure: The building has an old structure, but the nature around it is good. The campus is also nice, and the classrooms are nice. But labs are not much good, and the hostel facility is very bad and not clean. Staff members in the hostel are rude. It's good if you don't choose the hostel in our college.

Faculty: Teachers here are good, and there are some very young lady lecturers. They do their job perfectly, but in labs, faculty members are not student-friendly. The main aim of the course is to make students ready for the industry. Most of the students choose industry after completing the course.

Other: I chose this course because my parents want me to join it. Events were organised quarterly here.
